chapter 8

hayes' pov.

we were kissing, for a couple seconds now. it felt so magical. our lips separated and we looked at each other. I really like her. I know she just put me in the friend zone, but I can't help it. I want her to be mine.

"a-ali, i know that you wanna be just friends, and I respect that, but I really, really like you. are you sure you can't give me a chance?" I asked hopefully.

she looked at me for a couple seconds and didn't reply.

"or if no-"

she put her lips on mine before I could finish.

"does that answer your question?" she asked.

I started smiling uncontrollably.

"now I think we should get home." I said. she agreed and I started to put her down.

"woah woah woah mr.grier, who said you could put me down?" she smirked.

i laughed and picked her up again to carry her. we walked back home and went inside.

"you can put me down now." she said.

"not yet." I said and walked in the living room.

"hayesss." she whined.

I put her down on the couch and started tickling her.

"hayes! s- stop it!" she giggled.

"nope." I smiled and tickled her.

"please." she laughed.

i layed down next to her.

"finee." i whispered into her neck and she smiled. nash walked in right after that.

"ooooo." he said and wiggled his eyebrows. alison started blushing and hid her face in the couch.

"shut up." I laughed.

hailey walked in too and saw us laying together.

"AWH." she squealed causing us all to laugh.

"so are you guys dating?" nash asked with a smirk on his face.

we both nodded our heads.

"yay!" hailey squeaked and made us all laugh again.

"oh and by the way I came down to tell you that were all going to lake Norman tomorrow." nash said.

"okay," me and ali said in unison. nash and hailey went back upstairs and alison turned to face me.

"im so tired." she yawned.

"me too."

"I had a lot of fun with you tonight." she said softly as she cuddled up to me.

"im glad." I replied while running my fingers through her hair. after a couple seconds i heard her snore softly and smiled to myself. I kissed her forehead and went to sleep.
