As soon as Samantha stepped into the lobby of Stark Tower, she knew her life was about to change.
Looking at the elevator, she flicked her long, brown curls out of her round face. 'This will be an experiance', she thought as the elevator landed, opening it's steel doors to reveal a short man of about fourty or fifty, with a weird-looking beard-mustache combo. He walked towards the even shorter female with a happy glint in his warm, brown eyes. "You are Samantha, yes?" Samantha nodded, her double chin slightly showing. In the nine months S.H.E.I.LD had been taking care of her, she had put on a lot of pounds. She was once a wispy 120 pounds. Now she's a heafty 190, not that she was ashamed by it. The man smiles, wrinkles forming at his eyes. "I'm Tony. Tony Stark. Welcome to your new home for the next..." Tony counts on his fingers, "Four years." Samantha was awestruck. She knew Mr. Fury was relocating her for a period of time, but for four YEARS?! Alot can happen in four years! What if she loses it and kills Tony?! Doesn't Tony know what she can do? Or what what she did? Tony looked at her Wal-Mart baggie of clothes and frowned. "Is that all you have?" She nodded. She rarely went out of her room in the aprartment Mr. Fury rented for her, and even then in the short time she was in that area, she almost never went out. She only went out for food or utilities, every four weeks. She bought in bulk and saved her money.
Like a good girl.
Tony shook his head and clicked his tounge. "I'll buy you more. I'll have JARVIS calculate your sizes and bring up a list of clothing from a nearby mall. I'll let you look through it, in your own time. Today is all about settling in and getting comfortable with your surroundings." Samantha didn't know whether to thank him or chastise him. She was a complete stranger, and here he is, offering to buy her clothes.
Tony offered the elevator door to her first, and she stepped in, Tony following close behind.
The elevator jumped to life, rising up and up and up, till it reached its destination; the 48th floor, just below the penthouse. It was space for mainly guests and close friends to stay if they need to. The penthouse was Tony's space. "There's someone else living with us. He's a...reformee. He did some bad things, and he can't necessarily go home. No matter how bad he wants to. His brother stuck him here. You might know him, actually! His name is..." Tony pauses to push a button, which opens a mechanically locked door, "Loki."
