Saint Laurent's Hero

Prologue/Chapter 1

One day in the outskirts of the kingdom of Saint Laurent, there was a kid who had a special mark on his forehead, that mark was a cross.

That kid was named Ainz Fox. He was named by his aunt. Because Ainz's parents were assassinated by a group of assassins just after he was born that led them to not have a chance to name him.

Ainz was saved by his aunt, Rei Fox, who was a renowned mage. She was the second out of the seventh heroes who saved the kingdom of Saint Laurent against invaders.

By the age of five, Ainz was able to cast some spells around the house. It all started when he was outside playing with his friends Kean and Law Wonderwall. He accidentally cast a spell which caused a massive blizzard. His friends were shocked about what happened that is why they rushed home and left him all alone.

Ainz then rushed home and told his aunt about what happened. Rei was surprised at what her nephew did, that is why she went to an academy and ask George Wonderwall who was the seventh hero of Saint Laurent and the principal of the Academy for mages. Rei asked George to let ainz be enrolled at the academy. George thens agrees but after five years when Ainz is already ten "in the meantime help Ainz control his power" George told Rei and
Rei agreed. After the conversation with George Wonderwall, Rei went home and helped Ainz control his powers.

Chapter1: Academy

(Time skip to five years)

Ainz was already ten and was ready to go to the academy. Before Ainz and Rei went to the academy, Rei asked,

"Do you want to know what really happened to your parents?" Rei asked Ainz.

Without hesitation, Ainz replied "Yes"

Rei sighed, taking back her question "You first need to be powerful and graduate at the academy before I tell you what really happened". Ainz was both sad and angry because of that.

Ainz went to the academy and saw his friends Kean and Law Wonderwall at the entrance of the academy. Ainz was surprised in seeing his friends, they started talking, everything went well until a monster came after Kean and Law and were about to kill them until  Ainz cast a powerful fire spell which burned and killed the monster. Kean and Law were again shocked at what Ainz did and thanked Ainz for helping them. The brothers asked Ainz if he can teach them magic to protect themselves, and Ainz replied "I'm going to teach you magic if you help me find the group of assassins who assassinated my parents." The brothers were about to agree but then here comes their father George Wonderwall and told Ainz that he is not powerful enough to avenge his mother and father's death. Ainz was sad and asked George to help him get strong. George agreed to train him.

During Ainz's training he discovered some unremarkable magic and asked George if this magic is sacred. "Uhhhm sir George?" Ainz asked. "What is it kid?" George replied. "Uhmm I discovered a new type of magic which can summon a death knight under my command." George was surprised at what Ainz has told him and didn't believe him at first. Then George then asked Ainz to summon that death knight. Ainz summoned the death knight, George was in awe after seeing the death knight and cursed "WTF". Ainz laughed. George asked Ainz where did he learn how to cast the magic. Ainz replied "I learned it by reading the spell book that my aunt left at home." George replied "I see." Well then you better name that death knight" George told Ainz. Ainz replied " I'll name him Rook." George replied "Okay, unsummon that death knight now and we'll continue today's training. "Okay sir George." Meanwhile Ainz's aunt Rei was at home cleaning until a stranger went to the door knocking and yelling "Bring that brat out." Rei open the door and it was a guy wearing a white robe and was carrying sa long sword. Rei asked "What do you want." The guy replied "Where is the brat? I was sent here to kill him." Without hesitations Rei cast a lightning spell which killed the Guy. "No one will ever harm my nephew when I'm around" Rei whispered.
