He stood there still and quiet as if waiting for a sound or something to happen, but nothing did. His breath shown in the cold air of September showing how warm he really was. His friend Ralph finally came back from grabbing his jacket he had foolishly left on the court yard bench. "you ready?" asked Ralph, Sebastian replied "yea, lets go". "It looks like you've seen a ghost buddy, you OK?" said Ralph, "I'm fine, i zone out and dream for a bit, you know?" said Sebastian. "yea, kinda". They both walked home, stopping at the local gas station first to grab some hot chocolate. "ding ding" the bell rang as they entered the gas station. it was quiet with the sound of old country music playing in the background. Sebastian added marshmallows to his hot chocolate as he looked up and saw a girl standing there, he stopped and wondered who she was and sprayed out of his mouth the words "what's your name?". The girl chuckled and said "I'm Christine, a new girl that will be attending the local school. what's your name?" Sebastian froze and said "welcome my names Sebastian, pleasure to meet you." he said this as he stuck out his hand as the bond then and there started. she stuck her hand out and grasped Sebastian's tightly, she had and amazing handshake and was off to good start. "i go to A MacDonald High school where will you be going?" said Christine "oh really I'm going there too!" Sebastian explained. "guess it really is a Small world after all" said Christine, "i guess so" Sebastian said with a sigh of relief. "well i'll see you tomorrow on the first day of school?" Christine said excited. "you betcha" said Sebastian. Ralph had paid for both of the drinks and asked what that was all about, Sebastian simply replied "i met her"
