I looked towards where the voice was coming from. Okay, I know that I'm almost blind without my glasses, but was that Stan? What the hell was he doing here?
"Um, yeah. I can't seem to find my glasses." I said coming out of my initial shock at seeing him. "Do you see them anywhere?" I asked him.
Stan looked around for about 10 minutes, then came back to me and said, "No, I'm sorry, I don't see them. Do you have another pair?"
"I do," I said, "but they're back home. I don't know how I'm going to get home, I can barely see without my glasses." Oh god, I cringed, did I just say that aloud? How embarrassing.
"My name is Kayla," I said, remembering that we had never really been introduced.
"Yeah, I know, I've seen you around school. I'm Stan."
"Yeah, I know," I said. "You're the quarterback for the JV team. I've seen you play." <and lusted after you> I thought to myself, as I wondered how he knew my name.
Stan's chest swelled upon hearing her say that, showing off his 6-pack to perfection. Kayla had never been this close to Stan before, and she suddenly realized that they were both standing there with barely anything on. Her eyes automatically wandered over Stan's body and when they came to that little trail of hair that went down into his swim trunks...she inhaled sharply feeling a sharp sensation of desire shoot through her body. She immediately averted her eyes hoping that Stan hadn't noticed.
"I was wondering how I'm going to get home," I told Stan, "I wanted to stay here until tomorrow, but now that I've lost my glasses, I dunno. I was thinking about driving home tonight, but it's getting kind of late now, and I can't see well enough to drive in the dark."
"I'll drive you home in the morning if you want," offered Stan, surprising himself, "That way we can both stay. I haven't been to this beach before, and I would kind of like to stay until tomorrow myself"
Kayla was shocked to hear Stan offer to drive her home. Should she? She wanted to, but "Oh, I, um, how did you get here?" she finally stammered, "I don't want to ruin your weekend."
"It's no big deal, really. I came with some friends, but they won't mind," said Stan, "They were going back home tonight and like I said, I kind of wanted to stick around until tomorrow anyway. So we'd really be helping each other out. "Why don't you stay right here and look for your glasses while I go let my friends know what's up and get my stuff. It won't take long, and I'll be right back," and with those words he trotted off down the beach.
I guess it was settled then. I would be spending the night on the beach...with Stan...ALONE...
