The Other Girl

Chapter 1

"AIDEN!! Will you hurry up!!".

Wait, patience baby".

"Patience? That word isn't even in my dictionary anymore, thanks to you and the 3 hours you take to get ready" .

"I gotta look my best don't i?" He said with that smirk of his and a wink.

Aiden Tyler, the love of my life, tall, handsome, green eyed beauty, short brown hair and muscles. We've been together for two years and today was his 21st birthday. But Aiden being Aiden he was always the one taking the most time getting ready, so egoistic right, that's what I always say. By the way my names Quinn Ashford, I'm 20, I have long black hair, light brown eyes and pale skin, weird combination I always thought.
Aidan's so different from the others, he's really the one, but I'm about to kick 'the ones' ass if he doesn't hurry up!

Finally I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and a dreamy voice saying "ok, I'm done".

"About time" I said while rolling my eyes.

"Hey don't role you're beautiful eyes at me Quinn Ashford"

I smiled as he walked over to me and grabbed me by the hand to take me outside into the car.

I opened the window while he was driving, his fragrances got too much for me, he always put on way too much.

I looked up at the beautiful city lights in the dark night, then I looked up into the sky, smiled and whispered "you were right mum, life does get better".

"Did you say something?" Aiden asked.

"No erm I was just, I just, I was talking to mum" I struggled to say with a tear running down my face. All of a sudden he pulled up on the side of the road.

"Why did you pull up" I asked looking around in confusion.

"Hey look at me, you know you're beautiful right, you're my beautiful Quinn Ashford, I hate to see you crying or upset so listen here, your mum is looking down at you right now thinking 'thats my girl' because you've made her proud, you've become the girl she wanted you to become. I'm here to take care of you now for her and that's what I'm doing. you're my angel Quinn my beautiful angel, now wipe those tears. Let's enjoy tonight, just you and me ok? I love you pretty girl" after he said that it just made me love him even more, so I smiled and nodded while he kissed my forehead and stared the car again.

After a few minutes drive we finally got to the restaurant, it was so romantic with live slow music playing, a waiter took us to our table.

"Here is your menu for tonight, sir, madam, please ask for my assistance when you are ready to order" the waiter said poshly and walked off.

"So what are you gonna order? wait no don't tell me, you being the childish girl you are I bet you'll order mac and cheese" Aiden said with confidence and an eye brow raised up.

"Actually mister I'll be ordering this" I said while pointing at the menu.

"Oohh growing up are we"

"As a matter of fact I am.. Not. Just for tonight babe, I'm trying not to embarrass you on your birthday"

"Sshh, you could never embarrass me.. Ok you could easily embarrass me but i still love you. So anyway I'll just order what your ordering miss posh".

"Good choice, WAITER". We called the waiter and placed our orders, honestly it was a great night, me and Aiden haven't had one of these in ages, lately he seems to be distracted by something.

We finally got home after that amazing evening.

"Thank you for a wonderful birthday".

"Your welcome" I said with a big smile on my face. Until his phone rang again.

"Sorry I'll have to take this" he said nervously and walked into the other room, I rolled my eyes as I knew something was going on..
