grey-Sloan memorial hospital

doctor Miranda bailey rushed through the hospital corridors along with Meredith grey, they get to the er and they wait for the aid car to pull up at the entrance to the emergency department, they heard a firefighter was injured and they were in need of treatment, Miranda was hoping that it wasn't her husband, the truck pulls up travis jumps out and he opens the back doors revealing warren and maya  who jump out the truck and all three of them pull the trolley out of the aid car which is carrying there friend andy on.

Miranda: oh thank god your okay so what have we got here then?

Maya: Andy Herrera late twenties to early thirties injury to the right side of the chest probable bruised ribs and she also has been impaled glass and cork, she didn't tell any of us that she was injured until she collapsed in the truck.

Meredith: what are her vitals?

Warren: not good heart rate is stable but her blood pressure is below eighty and we have to lines in running fluid through as fast as we can, she also has decreased breath sounds on the right from a cracked or bruised rib.

Miranda: okay lets get her across on my count of three    ...3..2..1 lift.

everyone lifts Andy's lifeless body from the trolley to the hospital bed, all three firefighters leave the room but they dont want to, but ben knows she is good hands, all three leave the room and they gather outside and then they bump into Andy's father and jack outside.

Pruitt: what happened?

Jack: Andy got hit in the chest from flying glass we think it hit her and she fell down and hurt her side, and she got back up but she didn't tell no one that she was hurt, until she passed out from the blood loss.

Maya: look Pruitt i should have checked her out before we left there and i am sorry for not doing that.

Pruitt: its not your fault Andy is stubborn just like her mother, and she always kept secrets from me and she probably didn't want you too worry about her  and not the patients.

Jack: what's happening know?

Warren: they are stabilising her then Miranda will take her to surgery to repair the damage to her chest, and then remove the glass and cork.

as warren spoke to jack and Pruitt, Miranda and her team were guiding the trolley out of the room, Pruitt rushes to the bed he looks to his daughter, he bends down and strokes her head and places a soft kiss to her head.

Pruitt: what happens know?

Miranda: she is going for a chest xray, and then for surgery to remove the debris from her chest and abdomen, doctor pierce will be doing the surgery with me assisting , and she also has a collapsed lung from a broken rib, so once the debris is removed she will sort out the rib injury.

Pruitt: okay please take care of my daughter.

Miranda: i will and you lot can wait in the waiting room.

Maya: thank you come Pruitt lets go and wait for news.

Jack: let me know how  she goes i need to head back to the station and write up a report for today.

Warren: okay we will.

jack walks out of the hospital leaving everyone behind while he did paperwork, Maya guided Pruitt to the waiting room, in the waiting room they all sat down waiting for news, which gave Pruitt time to talk to maya about his daughter and how  she has been coping since his cancer diagnosis a few weeks ago after he collapsed in a fire, and she too was in the waiting room waiting for news just like he is know.
