"When it is all finished, you will discover it was never random"

Lizzy kept falling. It was like a dark deep pit. It never ended. Occasionally she could see smoke and what she thought was lava oozing out the walls. She screamed at the beginning but realized no help would come soon and stopped. Now she could only feel the heat from underneath her and the undying action of gravity on her body. Where-ever she was going right now didn't feel like the best place to be in because of the increasing heat. She always hated summer for the same reason because of the extreme heat. She was more of a winter person. She pursed her mouth tightly to try to calm down her racing heart and get ready to face whatever was underneath there in this extremely hot place.
After another 10 minutes, as she counted, she felt a cold breeze hitting her body. She also felt the sudden impact of the ground on her body. But the impact was far better than she expected. She looked down to see that she was in some kind of a dark tunnel. It was very dimly lit by a series of red lights which were illuminating the whole way. It kind of seemed out of place that such a place could even exist on earth that too in a city.
As she walked, she could frequently hear screams and moans of pain which sounded like they were from people. She could also feel the temperature raising again. Her clothes already hung down her body because of the cold sweat due to her panic state and the heat radiating from the walls. She was already drenched.
She sighed a long sigh when she encountered a huge iron gate. She didn't feel fear or danger here. It was quite surprising to her too. She could only feel excitement and curiosity running through her veins. This place made her feel some kind of a safety she never felt before. Like she belonged here. She just shrugged the feeling thinking it was dumb to be feeling that way. The gates look like a prison gate but only a larger version. She could see bright orange inside. Like it was fire.
She came closer to the gates. They automatically opened. She raised her brows in astonishment. She slowly entered. What seemed like fire earlier had been just a pool of lava. She could feel the heat burning her already. She could see a small island in the middle of this lava pool. She wondered if she was dreaming. How could a pool be filled with lava? Like is it possible? She stood about 50 meters from the pool thinking about what was happening when she saw some weird creatures flying towards her. She also noticed the weird looking clouds. They were questionably black. Like they would suck in the smallest hint of light. The ground and the sky were like the sun and a black hole. The sky was continuously sucking in the light of the pool. While with each minute the pool glowed brighter than before.
The creatures grew bigger as they came closer. They looked very weird. Like half-eagles and half-dragons. Dragons? Where on earth was she? She was lost in her thoughts before she felt like she was lifted to the sky. That's when she looked up to see that she was being carried by one of those creatures. She felt the claws of this creature piercing her arm. She hissed in pain as she felt blood gushing out of her arm. Soon she could hear the creatures growl like they smelt her blood.
In less than a minute the creature slowed down. Now she could clearly see the boiling lava underneath her. She could also see blood dripping from her arms and falling into the pool. Suddenly she felt the creature drop her. She stiffened. She was falling. Straight to the lava pool. Straight to her death. She closed her eyes, accepting defeat already. She began to loose conscious as she fell due to the blood loss. She was glad at least she wasn't awake to feel her skin burning in the lava.

She opened her eyes to feel immense pain in her right arm. It was tied up with some cloth. She didn't know where she was. Slowly she remembered everything. When she remembered falling into the pool she shivered.
"Don't panic. It will attract more of the demons" She heard a deep male voice from behind her.
Her eyes popped out of fear. As soon as she heard the voice she was on her feet. She looked at the stranger with wide eyes. He was exceptionally intimidating yet extremely handsome. He looked at her like he was seeing through her soul. She crossed her arms over her chest feeling insecure like he had seen all of her flaws. His eyes. They looked like they had a fire in them. But it was an exceptional shade of blue. It looked like all the fire in them was being cooled by the ocean. The disparity in them was strikingly attractive. It was like you could watch it all day and yet question yourself how one stroke of water could cool down the fire and still find it burning again later.
All of a sudden he wrapped his arms around her protectively. She could feel the heat from his body. It was like she was wrapped up in fire. She could feel her skin burning and yet it seemed oddly soothing. Was she going mad? she thought to herself. Knowing herself, she knew that in normal conditions she would rather kill herself than live in such a hot place. Now she felt like she was losing her mind.
He released her in a fraction of a second later. His physique was intimidating but his eyes. They had a very calm effect. He cleared his throat before she could lose herself in his eyes. And as soon as she looked at his face she saw that his eyes became totally red like fire again. But when she observed it again it turned a light shade of blue. She was intrigued by it. But he spoke when he noticed her questionable expression.
"What are you doing here?"
"Huuh..Where is here? I mean where am I?" She stuttered.
"How did you even to manage to get here" He questioned, not answering her question.
She was about to answer when he hugged her again. What on earth is he doing? She felt anger boiling inside her. She pushed him away. When she looked at him she saw that he had a mad expression.
"What are you doing? Why are you constantly hugging me? And where AM I??" She yelled.
He grabbed her arms and shook her.
"DON'T YOU DARE YELL AT ME." He said in a daunting voice.
She automatically cooled down. Or was she scared? she didn't know anymore. She looked down at her feet innocently.
"Tell me how did you get here?" He questioned.
"I don't know. There was this mirror and it just sucked me in. I fell into this pit and walked through some long tunnel. Then there was this creature that picked me up and was about to drop me into that lava pool. And I don't actually remember coming here" She said in a low voice.
He grabbed his hair in despair. She looked up to see his eyes literally spitting fire out of them.
"Can I ask you something?" She said looking down again.
"Yeah." He said annoyed.
"Where am I? And who are you?" She asked looking into his eyes.
"This is the Hell and I am Lucifer." He said menacingly with his eyes going an extra shade darker. Now she saw only red in them.
