"And then I met you and slowly but all at once my whole world began to change"

Red. Everything was red right now in her eyes. A part of her wanted to laugh at his statement. But when she looked around it did look like hell. Shit, what was she doing here? she thought. She raised her head to look at him. He looked mad enough to bring down the whole world. She looked enough for him to turn his glare at her.

"This is so crazy." He gritted his teeth and called for someone.

She bent her head. People arrived in less than a second. There were about 10 of them, she noticed from the corner of her eyes.

"Ask Xavier to take care of her until I find the person who did this and ask him to correct it."He stated out of anger, to one of the men. That man nodded and looked at Lizzy. She instantly nodded and started walking towards the man. As soon as she stepped towards him, Lucifer pulled her towards him by her arm.

"Look, just stay with him. I'll explain the rest later. But for now, don't try any other tricks or try to escape." He added looking into her eyes. Again, now she saw a light tinge of blue in them. The kind she loved.

It was about 30 minutes before she reached her destination. She looked around. It seemed like a room in the big castle. Not to mention she had ridden here on the back of that ridiculous creature she had encountered earlier. She didn't like the room, which was filled with a dark aura. In fact, the whole castle. It was hella gloomy and red. It was like she was living in hell. Damn, that's the exact place she is in right now, she thought. Now that she was alone, she remembered her friends and about her college. She knew everyone would be worried about her. She hissed when she thought of Mr.Brent's mad face when she returned back. Only if she returned back from here. Hell.

Her thoughts fled back to when Lucifer told her not to try any tricks. She thought of what he meant by tricks. A shiver went down her spine when she remembered the time he looked into her eyes. She gave her shoulder a shrug and tried to act calm and think about how to get back. But she was shaken from her thoughts.

"Thinking about how to escape?"

She gasped at the sudden voice. It was a strange man. He was handsome and very much intimidating. But obviously, nothing could beat the God, Satan. Noticing her again getting lost, he spoke again.

"Hey, I'm still here. Mind introducing yourself? I'm Xavier, by the way." He looked at her offering his hand for a shake.

She reluctantly took it and confidently added, " Elizabeth."

"So Elizabeth, tell me about yourself" He calmly stated taking his seat in the nearby.

Lizzy seemed to be angered by his gesture.

"Why isn't anyone telling me what exactly is going on?Either they get angry and start shouting like Lucifer or they act like they don't hear me like those other demons or they act like everything is in place, like YOU" She yelled.

"Stop yelling, Darling. It will get you nowhere. And about those demons, they can't hear or speak. So let them go. About Satan, he is very angry so don't try him at all. And I'll fill in the rest of your questions. So you can get started when you're comfortable" He said looking down at his hands in, between glancing at me. It was as if he knew all of this would happen. Did he?

Lizzy deeply sighed to organize her thoughts. Before she could begin, she was cut off by Xavier.

"And one thing. Can I call you Beth?" causing her to sigh again, this time annoyed.

She calmly nodded and began.

"First of all why am I here?"

"Oh, that was a mistake by one of the gods." He answered shortly and grinned.

"Care to explain more so that I can understand?" She said controlling her boiling anger.

He chuckled and began.

"Beth, you being here is completely normal. We were actually expecting you. But a different you. I mean, we were expecting a demon or a semi-demon. But it seems a total human came in. And as I told you, it was a mistake from the God. So as soon as He comes and fixes this mess, you'll be going back. Until then enjoy your stay. It's not like every day a human gets to stay in hell." He started laughing at his own joke.

Lizzy scoffed and thought of what he had said. Mistake of a god? But why her? There were hundreds of humans around. Were they expecting a demon?

"God? Which God and what Mistake?" She asked, her curiosity killing her inside.

Now it was his turn to sigh deeply. He looked a bit worried.

"Do you really want to know?" He stared at her.

"Yes." She looked at him anticipating his answer.

He got up and stood at the window that showed the lava lake.

"It was Cupid. It was his mistake of leading you here. He was on the verge of finding a match for Satan. But..." He sighed again.

Lizzy's eyes widened. That could mean only one thing. She was Lucifer's soulmate.
