A/N: okay so ya'll probs haven't read this book called 'Thief of Lies', but PLEASE start reading it. It's so underrated, so go check it out ;) ALSO DON'T KILL ME CUZ I KNOW GIA IS MEANT TO BE WITH ARIK BUT THIS IS MY STORY SO YEAH
GIA was stirring all night in her bed, getting this weird feeling all over her body. She thought that it was just shock from the fight she had with Conemar and his creatures, but it wasn't. When she'd think about Bastien, the feeling would just grow worse. Was it lust? No, it couldn't be. Even though Bastien was her betrothed, she never felt anything serious for him. Or did she?
She rolled her eyes, and tried to think of anything that happened between her and Bastien. Then one thing came to mind; the kiss on the cheek. She remembered how his soft lips melted against her skin, leaving goosebumps all over her body. The way he gave her that smirk afterwards.
She groaned, thinking of Bastien again. Gia never wanted her feelings for Bastien to evolve, but the current thoughts raiding her mind thought otherwise. Gia sighed and got up from the velvet covers, and headed out the hall barefoot. Although it was barely dawn, Gia knew she had to go see him.
She turned at a few corners before finally reaching Bastien's door. She knocked once, and no response.
Feeling annoyed she knocked again. When she didn't get her reply, she tried one last time. Fortunately, the door opened, and there in front of her stood Bastien in all his glory. He didn't have a shirt on, and his abs glistened with sweat in the moonlight.
"Gia?" He asked, confusion taking over his voice. "What are you doing here?" He asked softly, moving out of the way to let her in. "I couldn't sleep, Bastien." She whined to her betrothed.
He sucked in a heap of air as his name rolled of her tongue. He ignored it, putting all his attention back on her. "Care to tell me why?" He walked towards the bed where she sat, and leaned on the bedpost.
Her cheeks blushed a light red. "J-just midnight thoughts." She stuttered. She mentally slapped herself for stuttering in front of Bastien.
"Like what?" He asked, with his infamous smirk on his face. He finally sat down next to her, their faces inches apart.
"Anything about me in particular?" She could feel his breath on her face. "W-well, I um, thought of us." She stuttered again, trying to not pounce on this gorgeous man right 5en and there.
"You did now, did you?" He smiled. His left hand caressed her cheek, making her blush grow darker. "What did you think of about us?" His questions sent chills down her spine, and this warm feeling down in her womanhood.
"I thought of your soft lips, kissing my cheek." Gia said, confidently all of a sudden. His eyes widened, and the smirk was wiped off of his face.
This gave her a chance. She pushed him down, straddling him afterwards. "Gia- what are you doing?" She didn't respond though, and instead she immediately crashed her lips onto his.
At first he didn't respond, but slowly he opened up to her. Their tongues fought for dominance, and their moans soon filled the room. "G-Gia, where is this coming from?" He asked with red cheeks.
"Just shut up, please." She said as her hands across his bare chest. He was already barely dressed, so the bulge in his was very prominent. Gia's hands ghosted over the hem of his boxers, and Bastien hissed at her soft fingers.
"G-Gia please don't tea-" Bastien couldn't complete his sentence because Gia's hands were now palming his manhood through the thin material.
"What was that?" She asked smirking as his chest rose up and down. Sweat trickled a long his chest, and it turned Gia on even more. She didn't know where all of this confidence was coming from, but she was glad she had it now.
