"Alright cecily here's the good news you didn't break your back but you do have a compression fracture which needs to be operated on which I will let your parents talk to about the rest and if you have any questions I will come around later." the doctor rushed out of the after his pathetic speech. I waited for my mom to continue on from what the doctor said but my step father had beat her to it. "Well of course you probably figured out your gymnastics is coming to an end but that is not are main concern right now.". I really wanted to punch him right now, of course I new I wasn't going back, there are to many risk for me to be on beam but he just had to make a statement like it never mattered to me. "We Scheduled your surgery in two days because of course it must be soon as possibly." he paused and looked at my mother as if she had any objections to his speech but she just gave him a reassuring look. "Well your mother and I decided it was best for you to have this surgery done at a hospital where they are more experienced in that area so we decided to send you to the Komansky children's hospital." he finished. I really didn't mind what hospital I had my surgery in because I didn't really know my hospitals but I have never heard of it around here in our small town here in Venice Florida. "Um where is the hospital." I asked curiously. This time mother spoke instead of Charlie my step father " well that's the thing it's in New York."
