Bright lights are very common on Starland, so when Vega opened her eyes to the blinding light of the positive energy beaming off of her, she didn't really notice.

"Vega, you're glowing!" Gemma's annoying voice chimed in.

"Wow! How did I not notice before?" Libby's equally annoying voice.

Vega tried to get up, but there seemed to be a large weight on her. And it smelled really bad. She looked down to see Princess Pangea was lying half of her body on top of Vega's, which was awkwardly leaning against a wall. Vega looked at her surroundings, wondering how she got like this and how long she was here for. Slowly the memories of last night started to come back and she quickly pushed the large cattle off of her. It was morning, luckily not a school day but that didn't mean Vega was going to spend her day any differently.

Every day was a school day for Vega.

Vega brushed whatever dirt and hair the alien creature left off of her pyjamas and started scanning the room for her bag. She instantly checked around Gemma's side of the room and soon found her bookbag near the foot of Gemma's messy bed. Everybody was awake, but nobody was leaving their designated sleeping area yet. Even Piper, who seemed to be doing yoga right now, was doing it on the cot the BotBot brought for her.

"Vega where are you going?" Gemma asked. "I'm going to my room." Vega replied.

Both Gemma and Libby jumped from their beds and in unison cried, "Nooo!" but Vega didn't care. Vega had studying to do, despite how early in the school year it was she knew she could get a head start. "I thought you were getting hay for Pangea with us today," Gemma complained.

"Princess Pangea," Libby quietly corrected while giving the cow a gentle pat on the head. Libby's head pats were met with wetness. A shiver went through Libby's whole body as she felt Pangea gently closing the entirety of its mouth around Libby's small hand and began to suck on it. But Libby, eager to please, simply bit both her lips to hold back her scream of disgust and let Princess Pangea continue with the traditional Moon handshake.

Vega scanned her memories for any agreement she made or even a conversation she had about going out to get WishWorld food for a stinky animal. She rolled her eyes, "Yeah no, I had studying to do."

"Hey!" Gemma put her hands on her shoulders and yelled, something a first year should never do to the second year. Instead of yelling at her, Vega was just taken aback. Princess Pangea also seemed scared by the outburst and ran from Libby's side to the nearest corner in the room.

"Pangea clearly somehow helped you recharge last night! Shouldn't you return the favour? You kind of owe her for being so selfless."

"Hey!" Now Libby was the one yelling, only at Gemma, "Don't turn Princess Pangea doing something nice into a responsibility! That's not why she did it, Pangea snuggled Vega throughout the night because she's a nice, gentle soul! Vega doesn't inherently have to do anything for Pangea because she decided to do something her own to do it! You can't just call a Princess selfless if you also think the only reason she's serving you it to get something in return!"

Unlike Vega, Gemma processed what Libby was saying as she said it and very quickly felt bad.  All Vega really gathered from that ramble was that she was right. So instead of thanking Libby for validating her, she started flexing.

"Exactly, Gemma, I don't need to do anything for that smelly animal just cause she-"

Libby proceeded to yell at Vega.

"And you! Pangea has been nothing but polite to you, nice to you and consistently patient with you, but that doesn't mean I have to be. Vega, if you don't want to be friends with Princess Pangea that's fine, but don't ignore the fact Pangea has done nothing wrong to you and instead of just walking away from an annoyance you chose to stay and complain. You chose to insult a Princess to her face."

Piper, who was still doing Yoga in the corner and acting as inconspicuous as possible thought to herself, "Jeez, I hope she doesn't turn to me."

"So Vega," Libby's face quickly went from an angry red to a simple pink, her scowl rapidly changed into the soft motherly grin she always had and her hands went from her sides ( and Pangeas mouth) to up my her head, almost offering a hug, "Want to come with us when you finish studying? We'll be on the Crystal Mountains!"
