Tati's POV

"Hey, Tati, do you think we can just run through the beginning of Paper Cuts again; I forgot the notes."

"Of course we can." For the next few minutes Ash and I sit at the piano practicing the notes until he remembers them. "We should have Michael and Luke listen to it and see what they think," I suggest. He nods. "Okay, let's go get them." We stand up from the piano and head over to Michael and Luke in the other room.

"Mates, we've been working on the song for Liv and we want you guys to hear it," Ash tells the two boys.

"Okay." The two boys get up from their seats and follow Ash and me to the piano room. We play the song almost perfectly and wait for our review from the two boys.

"It was good, just a little more practice and the song should be perfect," Michael comments.

"I agree, just a little bit of practice and it should be perfect. Hey, can you guys get Liv and tell her I need her," adds Luke.

"Yeah, sure, Tati and I can go get her. Where is she?"

"I saw her with Cal last, so, maybe Cal's room?" Michael chimes.

"Okay," Ashton says and walks out of the room with me following. We walk up to Cal's room and turn the doorknob. It's locked.

"I can pick the lock," I say as I pull a bobby pin out of my hair and insert it into the lock.

"What if they don't want us to come in?" Ashton asks with a little worried expression on his face.

"I know Cal likes Liv but there is no way they'd be doing that, they're probably just kissing," I say blankly.

"I don't think they're kissing."

"Why not? You thought they were, um, putting the breadstick in the donut hole."

"Just pick the lock."

"Cover your eyes if you're so scared, pansy."

"Don't call me a pansy, I'm a man."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, to prove it, I'll go in first."

"Suit yourself, pansy." I pick the lock and Ashton opens the door.

"Oh, God. I know that we're told to expect the unexpected, but I wasn't expecting this." Ashton looks terrified. I peer around the corner to see what he saw.

"I saw it coming!" I shout with excitement. "I knew it, I knew it!"

"Liv, Luke wants you and he, um, he kinda wants to talk about if you two want to collab..." Ashton spits out with a terrible stutter. We leave the room, Ashton with a terrified look on his face and a huge grin on mine.

"I totally called it!" I say once we get back to the piano room.

"I, um, wow, I didn't think you'd actually be right."

"I'm great about relationships," I say, "People back home used to call me the smooth operator."

"I grew up with you and I can say that absolutely nobody called you that," Logan chimes into the conversation.

"Hey Hun," Logan says as he pulls me into a hug. "Can we go soon?"

"Call an uber," I snap back. "Sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you like that, I'm just really enjoying my time here."

"Can I talk to you?" Logan asks me. "Alone," he adds and glares at Ashton. Ash receives the threat and leaves the room. "Don't you dare give me attitude like that," Logan says through gritted teeth. I try to move away but he tightly grabs my arm before I can.

"Logan, you're hurting me," I say loud enough for only him to hear me. He lightens his grip a little.

"Give me attitude like that again and you'll wish I only grabbed your arm." A knock at the door distracts us. "Get rid of it." He points towards the door. It's Michael.

"Are you okay?" He whispers.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I lie.

"You're lying." Mike calls me out.

"Just, please, stay out of it. I know Ross told you things but please stay out of it."

"I can't."

"Please."

"Fine, but if I hear anything I'm busting that door down."

"You won't bust the door down, you won't even throw rocks at a damn window," I say and he laughs.

"Yell if you need me," he says and walks away.

"That took too long," Logan complains when I turn back to him.

"Sorry," is all I can say.

"You better be, stupid bitch." He mumbles the last part but I can still hear it. "What the hell's and uber anyway?" He asks.

"It's like a cab service type thing," I respond.

"Call it for me," he demands, "I'm leaving."

"Okay." I call the service and get Logan a ride back to his hotel. As soon as he leaves, I let out a long sigh.

"Why do you even like him?" It's Michael again.

"He has his good moments."

"Doesn't seem like it."

"Well, it's the truth. Is Luke still talking with Liv?" I ask, hoping to change the subject.

"No, she's in the lounge room now."

"Okay, thanks," I say and make my way to the living room. "Want to run through the cover quickly?" I ask her.

"Oh, yeah, sure." She stands up from the couch, "I'll go get Ashton," she says.

"Why don't you get Calum too?" I add and smirk to myself as her cheeks become a bright shade of red and the rest of her face becomes pale.
