Background : Isabella Mikaelson
was born a twin in the 10th century, second child to her parents Mikael a Viking warrior and Esther a powerful witch.
Isabella has 7 siblings, her twin Elijah who is older by 2 minutes and 6 younger ones, Freya, Finnick, Klaus, Kol, Rebekah, Henrik.
One night Henrik and Klaus wanted
to see the wolves on a full moon ( this was not allowed as the abominations were dangerous) tragedy struck, as Henrik got to close to the wolves and was killed.
When Klaus carried his dead brothers body back to his family, after Henrik death Mikael did not want anyone else to die so he forced Esther to turn him and their children into beings faster and stronger than werewolves, with their own fangs to attack, heightened senses, and unable to be truly killed.
But with these new found strengths there had to be weaknesses, the sun that granted life would burn them and keep them inside until dark, vervain that grew could burn them and prevent mind compulsion.
While neighbours who had once invited them in now had the opportunity to prevent them from entering and wood from the white oak tree could kill them. The worst weakness was the thirst for blood that never ceased. A silver dagger to the heart would put them into a deep slumber.
The Mikaelson's were the originals, first vampires to roam the earth, they were immortal even though they had weaknesses which could not kill them.
As time went on Mikael realised the mistake he made, his children were monsters and needed to be killed so he started hunting his children as he viewed them as abominations. 100 years and still in the run the Mikaelson's- Isabella, Elijah, Freya, Finnick, Klaus, Kol and Rebekah swore to each other Always and forever.
Elijah and Isabella were known
as the most ruthless of all the Mikaelson's, they were dignified and well respected as they were the oldest, but anyone who dared lay a finger or threaten the younger siblings and all hell would break loose.
They loved all there family even with drama and fights, but one thing Isa and Elijah would not stand for is someone hurting their family and if they give there word it will not be broken.
Klaus never let Isa, Rebekah or Freya have love as he viewed them all unworthy of his sisters hearts.
So he would present there lovers hearts to them as a gift for saving them from the men that we not good enough for his beloved sisters in his view.
