Quick A/N: if you haven't noticed, I changed the decription because I found the most perfect quote ever that could relate to the story!!! I was so happy to find it! The sunset thing was a total coincidence and road trips and stuff and oh God, I'm sO happy.

"Calum?" I heard Luke's voice next to me and I slowly opened my eyes. I was lying on the floor, with just a pillow to rest my head on. Luke and Leann were on each side of my body, staring at me. I couldn't remember how I ended up there, but I was hurt.

"Thanks God, you're finally awake", Luke sighed.

"It's not like he was going to die."

"Um.. He could have, and you know it."

    "B-"

"Guys!" I cut them off and sat, putting my hand on the back of my head. It was the second time this week that my head hurt. I think I had my dose, I had to be careful now. They just stared at me and Leann suddenly burst out laughing. What was so funny?

"Calum Hood is really clumsy", she smiled and stood up.

Yes, I was. I had never been really clumsy but maybe discovering a new place had made me lose all senses. Or maybe it made me nervous. Or maybe Leann had super powers. The third option was impossible, but she was weird, so nearly everything was possible.

"Uh, Leann?" I asked, with Luke on my side checking something on his phone.

    "Yeah?"

"Don't you have some ice or something for my head?"

"I'm sorry to break your heart, but we're in the woods, where do you want me to find ice?" I admit my question was really stupid but some people had iceboxes even in the middle of nowhere.

Luke also stood up, wiped his pants and reached out his hand to help me stand up, which I gently took and followed his moves. He looked almost as tired as me, but he didn't know how much I was hurting. It was like the sky had fallen on my shoulders and the clouds had found a way to invade my head and make me feel dizzy.

    "Damn, I'm hungry", he groaned.

"Well if your dear friend wasn't that clumsy, we would have something to eat by now."

"Haha", I scoffed, "As if it was entirely my fault."

"It is", she replied and walked out of the room. She left an awkward silence, as if I had nothing to say while she wasn't there, as if Luke was a total stranger to me. But Luke was my best friend. I always had things to tell him. Usually.

"Do you want to see my drawing?" he finally said, a big smile on his face.

    "Sure, you have finished it?"

"Yup, while you were sleeping like Sleeping Beauty", he giggled. But it wasn't funny. It was far from being funny. Luke in himself wasn't funny. I didn't know how he had gotten so many girlfriends. Humour was really important. Oh, I know, he was good looking. Back in high school, he was the one every girl had a crush on, and he had had a lot of girlfriends, and most of his relationships were because the girl had begged him. Well, that's what David told me, a guy at uni who went to the same school as him. But at uni these kind of reputations is completely insignificant, and I like it because I wasn't really liked in high school. I was the one everyone knew but hated because I pulled too many pranks to everyone.

While walking to his drawing, I noticed a mirror and checked my face. I looked awful and I had a scar on my right cheek. Maybe it was a stone that had made it. I touched it and it felt like a spider bite. It was really noticeable, which made it even worse. Even if it made me look badass, I hated when my skin had anything that could make it uglier or different. I liked my skin soft.
