It's Time to Believe

Once you had left, Joey Drew paced back and forth....or as much as someone can in a wheelchair. He runs a hand through his hair, and looks back at all the plans on the desk. "I can't believe I yelled at her like that. What have I done?! No...No Joey, she just needs to understand that these things need to be done around here. Sometimes you just need ta use a little tough love, she'll understand once it's completed! She believes in you Joey, but you just have to make everyone else believe along with her. She's perfect, my little devil darling. Oh my dear, I have such an amazing plan for everyone here at the studio! I know just the way to do it too, but Jill, you'll have to see once it's done. You and I will be able to make everyone believe! You'll be right there by my side, through thick and thin just like you always have. You'll understand, you'll have to understand. I'm so excited for this my dear. Everything here needs to be this way, I have to make everyone work twice as hard and the Ink Machine will have to be like it is for now...until the plan is complete. You and I will will make this dream come true! haha....Hahaha...HAHAHA......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

You storm up to the elevators and step in.Eyes brimming with tears, you march yourself all the way the animation room and just flop into the chair and hit your head on the desk. Your so frustrated and upset, you don't really get up from this position. You don't even move when you feel a hand on your shoulder, and another ruffling the hair on your head. "Hey there what's going on?" "Yeah sweetheart what's with the tears?" "Jill what happened?" You look up from your previous position, eyes red from crying. Seeing Susie, Sammy and Henry all there together worried about you made you want to cry harder. ".....nothing." "Don't play coy with us Jill, what happened?" Henry said. "I don't know what's going on with Joey! He's ...not himself." "Well we knew that, my little sheep. Joey has always been strange." Sammy says. "Sammy, first of all quit calling us your "little sheep" it's strange. And two, would you boys mind giving us some privacy? I'll talk to her. Girl to girl. " They nod in understanding, before Henry left the room he turns around. "I'm gonna ...go talk to him." "Henry no. " He walks away with saying "Im just gonna talk to him." She turns back to you and you look at her. "Alright now that we're alone, tell me what happened ok?" You nod, and tell her everything. Her smile slowly turns in to a frown the more you say what has been going on for the past few days, and the incident when you met him a while ago. She stands up, "Susie, where are you going?" She smiles at you, "I'm ...just gonna meet up with Henry." "Susie...no." "Susie yes." She turns to walk away, and you grab her sleeve. "Please, just....stay with me for a while. I'll get over it, I'm sure its just the stress getting to him. I'm not crying over the fact that he yelled at me, I -" "Cry when your worried yes I know. That's why we're all concerned. However, that doesn't give Joey the right to take it out on you. Don't worry, I'm just gonna talk to him........." she smirks at you "with a spare pipe. I'm sure Wally wouldn't mind if I took one of his or Thomas's tools." You give a small smile and laugh. "Don't do anything serious Susie...he's still my husband after all." "Leave you to marry the nut am I right, I would've swore you would have been with Henry in the beginning." You make a face, "Oh come on! Really?" "I'm serious Jill, ya know he had like the biggest crush on you growing up."She says. "No way." "Yes way! But hey ya found love right? That's all that matters." You smile "Yeah, yeah your right." She smiles and gives you a hug. "Maybe we can talk with that Allison character later on and see what she thinks about everything." Susie frowns at you. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. " "No , wait. I'm gonna have to talk with her eventually, maybe give her some tips on how to speak like Alice. Alice and I have a connection so I gotta make sure she's doing it right you know?" She says with a wink. You give her a slight punch in the arm. "Your a dork. " "You're in the same boat there sister, don't be judging me." She laughs at you, you laugh with her. "Can't argue with that." "Maybe we can get that silly Drew to make you a character, that way we can voice act our characters together?" You just laugh, "Oh I'm sure I'll get a character, once pigs fly." You think for a moment "Though it would be cool to get a character of my own...but to think I'd get one soon? That's a positively silly thought." Susie just smiles "There's that smile Jill. C'mon let's go play some darts in the break room." You stand up and follow her out. Little did you know of the plan that your charming devil is creating, and how you played a part in it.
