Me and Jason are walking up the steep hill to Thorn mansion.
"I'm getting a creepy vibe from this place" I said.
"Because it's old, just like you" Jason said sarcastically.
"We've been walking for hours!" I shouted trying to change the subject.
"Don't shout you'll wake up the ghosts" he whispered.
"Do you seriously have to say that! You already know I'm getting a creepy vibe from this place" I said.
"Your not the only one" Jason whispered.
"But you still know I get creeped out easily tho" I explained.
"Annd that's why I did it!" Jason shouted.
After a ten minuet walk, we were finally stood at the front door of Thorn mansion.
"So who's doing the honours" Jason asked with a big grin on his face.
"Well all I know is that I'm not doing the honours!" I remarked.
"You sure?" Jason asked.
"Mmhh" I hummed.
"Fine then" Jason sighed.
He pushed the large wooden door open with a creak.
"Give me the flash light" Jason demanded.
"There" I said while nudging him.
Jason slowly walked into the old mansion, and I slowly following behind him. The wooden floor creaking with every move we make, the cold air slamming the door shut behind us.
"Its cold in here!" I exclaimed.
"You should have brought a coat" Jason answered.
"I didn't know it was going to be this cold" I said while looking around the corner into the living room.
"We're in an abandoned house ontop of a hill of course its gonna be cold!" he exclaimed while looking around the main hallway.
Jason's POV
I walked up the stairs with a creaking sound every time I moved. When I got up to the second floor, I saw one of the doors was ajar, so I started across the creaking wooden floor of the hallway. When I opened the door, it led to a large space that has a bed against the wall, on the opposite side stood a desk with draws attached. I started over to the desk inspecting it when I was right infornt of it. When I opened the draws one by one, I found books, dairies, photographs in the third draw there was a large box covered in dark green coloured swayd. As I begin to slowly opened the box, I see an amulet with a dark purple stone in the middle, and silver rims around the stone. As I hold the amulet up high, the white of the moon reflects off the dark purple stone with a glimmer. Then I start to hear footsteps coming closer to where I'm standing.
"Oooo what's that?" Jamie asked.
"It looks like a neckalace or an amulate" I answered.
"Its pretty" Jamie beamed.
"Mmhh" I hummed.
She took the amulate from me and held it up high, only to see the reflection on the white light through the window onto the stone.
"Hmmm" she hummed staring at the amulate.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing" she replied, "Theres a "book of spells" in the libary downstairs" Jamie informed.
"Magic doesn't exist... So there can't be!" I exclaimed.
"You don't believe me" she said while putting the amlate into her backpack and shouldering it.
She grinned at me, then taking my hand leading me downstairs, into the living room then into the libary. I had taken a seat in the little seating area, while Jamie was navigating for this so called "Book of spells". When she found it, she sat next to me and put the book onto the table in the little area.
"There, have a look through" Jamie demanded.
I complied with Jamie's request, opening the book and flicking through the old tea stained like pages examing them closely.
"You believe me now" she said with a smirk on her face.
"You've made your point" I answered.
"Can we go now" Jamie asked while picking the book up a cluching in between her arms.
"Yeah, lets go" I replied.
