Her skin was covered in orange waves and her heart was pounding so hard she was contemplating ripping it out. Her breathing was ragged and no matter how hard she tried to stop the tears from rolling down her cheeks they still came down like waterfalls. She didn't call the police. She didn't stop and think. It was her fault.

She reached out and pulled the barely recognisable body of her three month old sister close to her chest, she lost her sister. One who hadn't even been named yet, as her family tradition of waiting until they were six months old to name the child hadn't yet been reached.

"IM SORRY. I DIDN'T MEAN TOO!" She cried clinging onto her 3 month old sisters body.

"Jay,Gia. I'm sorry." She breathed out her words like they were her last.

"Mom... dad. I just lost control please don't hate me."

Her ginger hair the same colour as the flames she was surrounded with fell across her face as she cried. Salt water fell on the floor in small droplets like rain on a glass window.
Sirens. They were coming.
She had to get out of there, she had to leave.
She ran through the flames looking back at her family one last time.
"Goodbye."
