She sat in the front seat of her red and black Camaro waiting for Angela to come out. It was 9pm and prom will start at 9:30. She turned the radio on and one of her favorite country songs came on. "Church Bells" by Carrie Underwood (rock ver. By Leaving Thomas). "Jenny grew up wild like a backdoor Daisy, out in the shack with a blue tick hound, broke as hell but blessed with beauty, the kind that a rich ma-". Her singing was interrupted by Angela clapping.
"That is sooooooo going on social media!" She says as she shows the recording on her phone. She gets in the car as they drive off.
They arrive 5 minutes late but as soon as they walk in all eyes look to them. Angela walks over nervously to the snack section and Natalie goes out to the dance floor.
'Oh no.' She thinks as Dannie walks over to her. She hopes he doesn't recognize her.
"Well hello good lookin' " he says nonchalantly.
' Of course. So cliche"
"How about we go dance?"
"No thanks."
She walks off as Dannie just stands there. He pulls out his phone.
"Target found boss."
"Excellent" a deep voice says from the other side of the call.
They walk out at midnight totally exhausted. The next thing they know...a hard object hits them in the back of the head.
