The myth

"Ah Alexa do u still remember that night ?" Lily inquired

"What the night we almost got killed ,sure do ", Alexa said with voice of horror

A year ago ,on a warm summers day with the smell of fresh cut flowers in the air and gentle breeze

"Hey lily lets go camping this weekend at Canola river, booze , hot guys and the water its going to be perfect" Alexa squealed

"Ummm Alexa isn't canola river, the canola river of myth , aka the haunted one?"lily said

"Lily that's a stupid myth made by someone to protect the awesome camping spot you know that ghosts are fake right? So come on are u in or what" Alexa said proudly as she had most likely just one the argument

"Fine I'm in but it better be awesome"lily moaned

And with that the to girls packed the things they needed , a tent , enough food and water , matches , blankets and pillows and enough clothes for the two days they were staying.Alexa arrived at Lily's house at 9 am in her pick up truck and beeped the horn.

" I'm coming I'm coming "lily yelled

"Come on we don't have all day if we take to long all the good spots will be gone"Alexa complained

Lily and Alexa were off with the gps on and a full tank of gas this was bond to be the best camping trip, it was now 10 o'clock and the road they were on was getting smaller and there was a lot more sharp turns and sudden stops but they only started getting alarmed when they saw a sigh saying" be aware , murders spotted in the area" and another saying " canola river is closed".

Lily laughed " the things some people will do to protect a camping spot"

"Lily I don't think this is a joke I know that the hole ghost thing is a myth but maybe it's actually closed and we should come back another time"Alexa said with a ting of worry

"LISSEN HERE IVE DROVE ALL THIS WAY AND IM NOT TURNING BACK NOW "lily screamed

Everything was quite after that nobody said anything until lily hit the brakes and there was a man standing in front of the car, the man had blood running down his face , he looked about thirty maybe forty and he was about 5'9 with a viscous look on his face.

"Get going and never come back this place isn't for girls like you looking for the perfect tan" said the man

Lily open her door and walked up to the man and politely said " we're not doing anywhere me and my friend wish to stay here it's free and pretty and there's nobody stoping us certainly not some old guy"

The man just stood with a look of horror and smiled as he grapped lily and disappeared.I was aware of three things 1, I was very alone and there's a kidnaper on the louse, 2 the car isn't going anywhere any time soon and 3 Lily's gone and she's not coming back. I got out of the car but in a jumper and went looking for lily I was looking for a solid hour before I herd a scream and ran to we're the sound was coming from the top of the cliff. As I arrived to the top of the cliff I saw lily and the guy lily was yelling and screaming and fighting

him and with a final kick she pushed him of the cliff and looked at Alexa.

"Run now and tell none " Lily screamed

Lily and Alexa ran with everything that had and never looked back , and there secret always held them together they never told anyone , they burnt all evidence of the night and when people mentioned canola river they told the myth , the myth that turned out to be true .
