People payed no attention to her, but when they did, they would be pointing and whispering to one another asking questions like,
"I wonder she managed to afford a school like this?"
"How can she be here when she can't even afford her looks?"
This school were fulled of rich businessmen fathers and hot supermodel mothers. Everyone had looks and glam, all but her. She stood out like a sore thumb, a ragged doll among the polished and new dolls. She moved school to school, due to people bullying her, but now her goal was to succeed and show them she could be as good as them. She didn't care what they said, she didn't throw up her food to become skinny just so she can try to have a beautiful body, she didn't try to bleach her hair but instead bleach herself which didn't leave a mark, she didn't stay up all night crying and muttering why life was cruel. No she never did any of those things, because she was Estelle Marvolo.

The day she found out she had another opportunity to start over at another school, she was over the moon. Everyone in her family, especially her brother thought it would have the total opposite effect. No one knowns her true intentions expect her, this time, she wanted her parents proud and no longer worried. For her, this was the only opportunity left to show that she could to everyone she was capable of anything. It was a slim chance, but she knew she could hang on, no matter how hard or painful it would be.

She stepped into school and instantly the taking and chatting was instantly shushed, all eyes were on her, but she didn't care, she walked straight on. The ice slowly started to break, people were whispering, she said to herself
"Happy thoughts, happy thoughts,"
The ice cracked even more, people were pointing, chuckling
"These people don't know me, its alright,"
The ice was starting to fall apart, laughter and cackles were heard from every direction
"It's ok, you can do this, remember who you are Estelle. You are strong,"
The ice was even more cracked, but just only held on
"You can do this, those people are just, are just m-,"
The ice broke, making a shattering deathly sound.

Estelle Marvolo woke up to be inside a room, the nurse's room with someone beside her. Her sight was blurry but she could see bright orange hair, bright grassy green eyes and freckles. The girl smiled brightly at her.
"Are you alright?"
Her voice suggested she was new at school too, cheery and happy was what she looked like, but it didn't feel right.
"Thanks, but how did I get here?"
"Well I saw you faint, so I carried you here," she said still smiling.
The thought of her being carried made her think of the shame and how lame she is, now she couldn't find any friends. By now the whole school would have known of the incident, but she couldn't do anything to fix it now. What was done is done, but she could still have a friend. She stared at the mysterious girl with wild curiosity and happiness, she could be her friend.
"Can we be friends?" She tried asking in full confidence.
"Of course. I'm Rosie by the way." This time Rosie's eyes were sparkling and this was enough to convince Estelle, whatever that strange feeling she got from her, it was gone.

People still stared at the two of them, but this time the talk was different.
"Omg how did ugly become friends with the red head," the girls would say
"Let's pretend to flirt with ugly while some of us steal the red head?" The boys would plan and then they took action.
As Rosie and Estelle chatted contently, the boys came over.
"Hey there beautiful," he indicated to Estelle, "how wou-".
Quick as the wind, Estelle kicked him in his nuts, took Rosie by her hand and ran to another place. The yelling of pain from the boy were still loud as they ran away, both giggling. The girls watched in surprise, some in laughter and others in horror.

"That's the first time I've actually done that. Every time they do that to me, I always get humiliated in the end."
She turned to Rosie who was amazed and curious of her actions.
"Thanks Estelle, now I can look out for creeps too," and with that she leaned in with a hug.
Estelle filled with happiness, with joy, something she wouldn't think she could have again. From that day on, they were best friends.
