airplane —
The rain had stopped, yet no call from her. I glanced at my black screen and just groaned as I realised how long I had waited.
I messed up my curls as I jumped up from my big, comfortable bed. I went to the window and pushed the grey curtains away.
Wet grounds, mirroring the grey clouds in the sky, the smell of the usual rainy smell was in the air, people slowly pulling down their umbrellas, small kids jumping in the puddles and loud cheers being heard.
I just smiled. Maybe she was busy, maybe I was being too nosy? Whether or not, I decided to ignore it and trust my baby as I decided to take a walk to the dance.
I pulled my yellow hoodie over my head as I plugged in my earphones. I tied my Nike airforce shoelaces as I soon left our room.
I went past the messed up living room as I glanced at the hallway, noticing her jackets and shoes. I was missing her, why wasn't she calling or coming home?
I frowned as I raised the volume of my music and got out from the house.
The wet ground was glittering in the now peaking sunlight. The sun did also fight against clouds to be able to do its job.
The sound of an airplane made me smile as I stared lovingly at the sky. The airplane leaving dust in the sky, creating a cool, tail-lookalike as it just swooshed forward.
Airplanes were admirable in my eyes. Being my alias, my motto for life. To fly like an airplane. To become one. I pulled my arms out and made a small gesture to look like a small airplane before childishly flaming my hands, making it look like a weird dance, in tact to the music.
Soon I lost focus and looked at the sky again, this time focusing on the sun. I liked the sun, kind of looked up to it. Everybody learns how to dance if they take dancing classes. But it's about building your own character and dance like your personality, try to express all your feelings with everything you have.
Dancing was my daily source of happiness. I loved dancing and had been dancing for 5 years now. My girlfriend, was a Japanese dancer named "Hirai Mika".
Her way of dancing made my eyes widen for the first time in my life and even though she was two years younger than me, I fell for her and I guess miracles happen, since we live together now.
The only problem is, she seems very taken aback nowadays. She really doesn't like to talk. Sometimes she didn't even come home. It made me worry, even though if I can say it myself, I ain't the jealous type.
I just got worried for her... I stared up at the sky as I smiled, please protect her.
Soon I reached the dance hall as I pulled up the door and waved hello at a few familiar faces.
I lowered my phone's volume as I reached the changing room. I saw the male sign as I imitated it, a daily thing I used to do.
I pulled the door as I was about to open the door. But suddenly I heard a female voice coming so I quickly closed the door and confusedly stared at the sign.
Was I wrong or the female inside?
I had just come to the conclusion to leave as the door opened and the persons in front of me made my heart just shatter into pieces.
I took a step backwards as I tried my hardest to push in the tears.
"M-m-mika?"
