Miski watched the clones silently. He was amazed that so many people could be grown in tubes. He had only ever seen one up close and that was his commander.
Miski was a bit surprised that he fit in the vent. He weighed well over 300 lbs and was 7'2". He blamed it on the breeders wanting taller and taller cubs. He was still a bit surprised when he passed the 6'6 mark and kept growing.
Now, he wasn't human. He was what is called a Micalish Straunur. A Man of the Moon.
He stared down from the vent at a togruta and another clone. He was reminded of his own padawan when he saw the girl. He was waiting for them to pass so he could get moving again. But they stopped when the girl looked up. He held his breath as he backed up and almost got stuck. He was barely able to fit in the vent.
He managed to keep himself quiet as she looked up and stared at the vent cover. He was holding his breath as the clone took notice and walked up to move the vent cover. Miski saw his arms come up first and he panicked. There wasn't much he could do to not start a comotion and he was trying to figure it out as the clone's head came in to view.
Without thinking it through, Miski pushed him down and fell out of the vent after him. He narrowly avoided landing on him and there was a blaster and a pair of pistols pointing at him almost immediately. He growled. The primal beast inside of him showing itself. He was on all fours and could run a little better and faster that way, so he took off in the opposite direction.
Miski heard shouts and the buzz of a lightsaber behind him as he ran. He had to take a different way than he'd come so he didn't run into the Togruta and the clone.
Finally, after what felt like forever, he reached the hanger. There was no one behind him. He sighed softly to himself and gently pushed the button to make the door open.
Miski didn't know why he thought thag was a good idea. A clone by the door didn't recognize him.
"Hands on your head!" He said, drawing attention. Miski didn't obey. He growled and skirted along the wall. He didn't want to be here. He shouldn't have come here.
More clones, armor all painted blue, gathered around him and had blaters pointed ag him. The he lunged forward, knocking a few over. A few shots went off. Miski just ran bjt he wasn't fast enough. He felt a sudden weight slam into his back and down he went.
He was soon at the bottom of a pile of clones who kept him from moving as a pair of cuffs was brought up to them. Miski also vaguely heard the Togruta come in and order them to restrain him. He stopped his struggle and let them. There was no point in trying to get free after he had been seen by so many people.
"What's going on here?" A masculine voice asked. Miski couldn't see the man but he could feel him through the force. He was powerful, that was for sure.
Miski kept quiet as the padawan explained finding him in the vents and the chase that had ensued. In that time. Miski was turned to face the man and the Togruta.
"What's your name, stowaway?" The man asked. Miski had to think if he really wanted to give out his real name or not. He decided to.
"Miski A'fi. It means 'Wild Giant' in my native tongue," he said softly. His voice was deep and heavily accented. The man just sighed.
"I didn't ask about the meaning. What are you doing here?" He was irritated. The man got closer and glared up at the much larger male. Miski made a show of shrinking back like he was afraid.
Miski didn't respond to the question either. He just stood and gave him his best scared expression. He wasn't actually scared, but the show might get him some pity points. Or just a warning. The second was much less likely.
The man quickly grew angry and growled. "Take him to the brig and question him. Don't uncuff him under any circumstances," the man ordered and he was obeyed.
