Connor
I've never been in love. Sure, I've had relationships with females that were fun an all, but not once have I ever actually been in love with any of those girls. Love takes too much commitment, too much time. Time is not something I have freed up, and neither is commitment. Constantly, I'm on the road and doing shows with my friends in O2L. I'm committed to my career, and I would never give up my dream for a girl.
Apparently, though, my thoughts don't matter. I was forced to sign a contract, binding me in a relationship with the beautiful Grace Harley.
Why do I even have to have a girlfriend? If they wanted me to have a girlfriend so fucking bad, then why couldn't they allow me to choose a girl for myself? That would have been much nicer than the girl they assigned me. Sure she's pretty, but to me she seems like a stuck up bitch.
We are on our way back to the O2L house, where I was instructed to take her so that she could meet the rest of the guys. They should already know that she isn't my real girlfriend, but invade they don't, I will gladly tell them.
"What kind of music do you like?" I ask the brunette model, reaching to the stereo in my car and turning the music on softly. Happy, by Pharrell is on the radio and I cringe. It's very likely that I've heard this song at least a million times.
"Well not this," Grace replies, turning her nose up at the current song playing. I laugh and switch the channel to a different pop station.
After a few seconds, Grace leans forward and turns the radio all the way down. What the hell was that for?
"What?" I say, kind of annoyed. I liked that song and it's my radio.
"I don't like listening to music," she says, shrugging as if it's no big deal. Well what's up her ass?
I roll my eyes and pull through the gate surrounding the O2L house. We had to make sure we were secure when we bought the house because of our fans and publicity. We love our fans more than anything, but we have to have our safety and privacy, too.
I pull my car into the garage and turn it off, and get out of the car. I turn to see if Grace is getting out of the car. She isn't.
I walk over to her door and open it. "Why aren't you getting out?" I ask. She spins her legs and gets out of the car.
"I was waiting for you to open my door for me." With that, she walks around me and waits for me to close the door and guide her inside.
"You know, just because I have to say that I'm your boyfriend doesn't mean that I'm going to act like it when I don't have to," I sneer, already sensing just how much of a diva she is going to be. This will be a very long six months.
"Well, right now you have to since you are introducing me to your friends." She wraps her hand around my bicep and puts a smile on.
I take a deep breath before walking up the few steps into the house, helping her up seeing as she is wearing heels and that's what a boyfriend does. Although, I'm quite sure she knows how to walk up a few steps in heels.
I am very aware that I'm not being as nice as I could be with her, but it's really hard for me to be polite to a rude girl that I'm going to have to spend the next six months with. If I have to give six months of my life to this girl, I'm not going to overwork myself and be nice to her when she isn't doing that for me.
"Guys! Where are y'all?" I shout, trying to get the boys attention. I'm not sure if Trevor and Sam are here today. When I left to go to the meeting they weren't here, but they could have came over after I was gone.
