Part 1 - You Watch My Back, I Watch Yours
Nicole's POV:
I wake up in the middle of what is going to be another sleepless night. Rubbing my eyes vigorously, I turn on my desk lamp, glance at my phone which at that moment vibrated showing Rubens name on the screen... Again.
I should probably start from the beginning. It all happened within a month, one moment it was my best friend Ruben and I against the world, the next our friendship evaporated into the air just like nothing, and I was left battling the world all alone.

I drive into the parking lot of my stupid, stupid school Bedrick High. Alongside my best friend Ruben.
"Ready to be bad ass, parter in crime?" Ruben looks at me smirking as I turn the engine off.
"What bad deed are we doing today sir?" He chuckles at my lame attempt of a british accent
"Well.... I was thinking we could mess with Mrs.Carter today at the school assembly?" I grinned. The school assembly, it was always once a month. The whole school would show up and we'd have to listen to the endless words coming out of our principals (Mrs.Carters') mouth trying hard not to cut our ears off in the process
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I say looking at him with an evil grin
He attempts to send me one back but it looks more like the grin of an old creep who wants to give little kids candy and shove them into his van, not cute
"Don't do that... please... ever.." I laugh wildly and shudder still examining his face as it goes into confusion
"Whatever Nicky!" He whines and waves his hand dismissively "Okay, So what shall we do, this assembly starts in half an hour!" He says his eyes widening in shock at how early we arrived at school
"Hm, no traffic today. Worked in our advantage Rube," I say winking at him
"I say we put crazy glue all over the teachers chairs, so when they sit, they can't get up! I heard the founder of the school is coming by today too!" he whispers sniffling a laugh
"Out the car we go, try not to make much noise when you walk into school Ruben please!" I begged, he is always the type to make noise when we're trying to be 100% silent, which always risks us getting caught
"I pinky swear" he sticks out his pinky then intertwines it with mine.
"Show time!" I squeal excitedly exiting the car.
Today will be a very very interesting day.
Ruben's POV:
"Quiet ok?" Nicole says putting a finger to her lips as we tip toe around the school leaning on the walls
"You watch my back, I watch yours" I whisper as both Nicole and I walk back to back
This is something we've done every time we're up to no good, this way she can see if anyone is coming from one side, and I on the other.
We reach the lab room
"So what are we gonna do?" Nicole says in a normal voice as I put my hand over her mouth when I hear her voice echo bouncing off the walls.
Her black hair is hanging from her loose bun on to her eyes and I don't notice I'm basically eye raping her until she shifts uncomfortably under my hold of her mouth
"We should try that trick Mr.Ritz showed us during lab? You know the one where you pour the substance on to something and after a while it makes a small explosion?" Nicole says with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes
