It's the afternoon moon, it's still waiting for me, I wish I was there...but I'm sitting at a meter high desk doing an hour long test.
"Diana. Earth to Diana,"
"What, huh what happened?" I say looking around clearing my thoughts realising slowly everyone's looking at me
"Finally, you were stuck on the moon for quite sometime," said Mr Delbor
"I liked it better up there," I whispered to my self
It's not like I'm going to get a A+ on my test, probably another Nonegrade
Crunch scrunch... smack
A piece of scrunched up paper hit me in the back of my head. I unscrambled it and read it in my blank mind.
'Space girl wishes she had a job on the moon but all she gets is work at a supermaket'
"What's that!" Mr Delbor hissed while snatching the scrap piece of paper out of my shaking hands."well maybe instead of doing maths because your failing anyway you should do English, and learn to spell... wait no go to the principals office instead!" Mr Delbor demand
Now I know what your thinking, just tell him but I can't, it's not that easy. I flick my long brown to blonde hair behind my shoulder so it's rubbing my tail bone and stand up of the old green desk that many kids have carved words and drawings into. My vans scraping the ground as I walk past the unorganised teacher desk. He probably doesn't ever mark the tests, there probably the big stack of papers on his dark wooden desk. I throw my denim bag over my shoulders and pull down my black and white striped top so it's touching the top of my ripped jeans. I look at the person responsible for the letter, she smiled with her perfect teeth and flicked her perfect blonde hair behind her shoulder and continued to carve words in to her green desk. I'm kinda happy I'm leaving this class it's the oldest and grossest class in the whole school may I add the messiest, the carpets covered in who knows what and old math questions laminated and stuck on the wall with colourful thumbtacks, the Green felt walls ripped in many places.
I slowly walked down the hall with lots of lockers on both sides of the room. There... right there the sigh poking out from the principals office. I slowed down even more but I knew, I just knew he wouldn't get mad with me, go.
I turn the corner and...
"Hi Mr Ba..." before I could finish I saw a girl siding in the chair closest to the window.
"Mia this is Diana, Diana this is Mia" He said
"Hi" Mia (I think her name is) said to me
"Hi" I reply
"Now you Diana are the perfect on to show Mia around"
Please go to the moon, now right now would be a perfect time.
"What.. I mean wait me" I yelled
"Well that or you can tell both of use the really reason your here" he whispered back to me.
Oh no
"I'll take the first option" I replied
"Don't get lost Diana, in your head I mean" he chuckled
"It's gone anyways" I say to myself
Mia and I walked down the hall with lockers on both sides, following us to the cafeteria.
"We will go to the cafeteria first, mainly because it lunch time. i just have to go get my sandwich," i say pointing to my locker
"I'll save you a seat," Mia replied
"Phaha... you missy have a sense of humour," I giggled and continued to walk towards my lockerI walked into the cafeteria to hear a loud voice calling my name.
Mia yelled from across the room, "Diana! Diana!"
I smiled and fast walked towards Mia, she patted the seat next to her to tell me where to sit. I sat my bag beside me on the ground and smiled, we were sitting with the girl that write the note to me and her friends / my old friends. we used to be best friends but when they got over the whole living on the moon thing they started being mean to me. Well the girls who write the note, her name is Felicity and the other two girls names are Jazz and Casey. Felicity's boyfriend Kevin was sitting next to her.
"Well, Mia heres my number text me when you want picked up," Felicity said in her annoying popular voice with a little smile at the end shot towards me. I quickly looked down and twirled my fingers around one another.
" Umm sure," Mia slowly replied
"Well, what was that about," I asked quickly after.
"Omg I have no idea, maybe she said that because you're here but we didn't talk about anything like that," Mia added a laugh.
I grabbed my bag and we walk to science. I realise that my bag felt a little lighter then normal.
"Hey can we stop or you carry on and I'll catch up," I sit on a chair beside a row of lockers to pull everything out of my bag to check if everything in there.
"I can wait, friends stay together," She said taking a seat beside me, she continued to straighten up my paper as i pulled more drawings out.
"Oh my god, Kevin yuck!" She argued after looking at a drawing of mine. A heart with a drawing of him and me holding hands.
" Shh, if this picture falls into the wrong hands I'm done for, even if someone hears you say it!" I said snatching all the sketchers out of her hands.
Click, click, click.
"SHHH," I whisper
"You first," Hissed a voice from around the corner
"Who is that?" I asked standing up
"BOO," Yelled Felicity
"Hi, aren't you suppose to be in science?" Mia said
"Aren't you supposed to be in science, Oh and that drawing is very cute Diana but i don't ship it," Felicity walked past and grabbed the drawing out of my hand. A scream reached out of my mouth.
"Only thing you have left of him, well guess what he's mine and everyone knows that. OMG is that why you like him," Barked Felicity. She giggled and ran away, I left my bag to go chasing after her, i saw in the corner of my eye Mia picking up my stuff and pushing it in my bag, she through my bag over her shoulder and ran to catch up.
"Hi Mr Delbor," I heard Felicity say
"Hello Mrs Celeb, please get to you period 5 class, and NO RUNNING IN THE HALL!" He snapped at her
Mia and I ducked into the toilets. We heard a giggle from behind us, but not a very girly giggle.
