Sesshomaru's old memories.

Seeing that where we were was once a grand Empire.

Once a palace, and a grand one at that. yet a fire destroyed it.

Rice paper prayers and gifts and such were scattered around.

Feeling the pain that the land and it's surroundings once held.

I couldn't help but wonder why Lord Sesshomaru would bring me to such a depressing place.

"Who's palace was it?" I asked turning to find Lord Sesshomaru standing there studying my reaction as I studied the lands.

He looks away.

He could most of the time keep his expressions held back, but something told me this place held sadness for him.

"It was my father's palace." He and Inuyasha's mother's." He said as I walked around picturing what it could have once looked like.

"Was?" I asked.

"Was, he...died in that fire." Lord Sesshomaru said sounding sad. Maybe it was my imagination that I was feeling that he was sad.

Who knows about him.

"I'm sorry, I know how you must feel." I said feeling I must ready myself for the wrath of the mighty one..

"Your sorry...you will never know how I feel." Lord Sesshomaru growled as he pushes me toward the falling archway of the palace.

"You are right as always." I guess I will never know." Question is though, why the hell did you bring me here?" I asked seeing

more of the horrors from the fire inside.

Birds flew from nests that were built in the fallen deb re.

" I just surpassed my father today, I wouldn't have been able to do that if he still lived." I..hate to admit he was the most powerful."

Lord Sesshomaru said as I grew more frightened of him by the minute.

He goes on telling his story.

"His weakness killed him in that room." He pointed. I nervously followed where he was pointing.

I was getting sick, I had to get away. Covered my mouth as I made a beeline to the archway only to be stopped once again by his hand.

"let me go..I swear I'll puke on you." I said pulling my arm free from him.

Made it barely outside before falling to my knees and puking. Seeing all this was not helping me any.

"Take me home." I don't know anything of these horrors you are trying to show me." I said as I wiped my mouth off with the back of my hand..

Father." Lord Sesshomaru said in a low but disturbing voice.

I was in shock to come to know the reason of his father's death. I suppose she was human. He did say my kind-my-race.

Sure I guess I can once again take the blame for something bad happening in Lord Sesshomaru's life...

Why not. Even if it happened centuries before I was born.

Hell it could have been a woman's fault for the fall of Rome. So why not the fall of

a Japanese Lord's Empire.

"As for taking you home...you are home." Till I can reverse what happened and to correct my father's faults, ones that I have required through his blood." Lord Sesshomaru said.

"No, you can't make me stay here." None of this is my fault!" If your father did die because of love he had for a human..."

Then Lord...Sesshomaru...you are nothing like your great and wonderful father." I said as I raised an eyebrow at Sesshomaru as he turned away.

Odd, very odd being Sesshomaru he is...

"Why did you go with the sword maker today?" He asked as if changing the subject.

"Really?..." I suppose he wanted to show me your greatest achievement." Fuck you, ask him yourself." I said in shock at my words I just spoke to him..ones I rarely use.

"You caould have been killed, even in danger." Lord Sesshomaru goes on. As if he cared for my life.

"Yeah you keep saying that." Well I wasn't killed and I was in no danger." But Kagome was there and she's human, go chew her out." I said.

"I could careless that she was there, you shouldn't have been." He said as in a flash he was in my face.

"Yes...and I shouldn't be..here." I am in more danger her than I was there on that field." I said feeling the pressure of him against me.

"Well spoken truth." Could it be, that I wish to correct my problem for another day?...I presume...I still feel the effect of the Forbidden Forest." He said as he leaned his face toward me. I turned my face quicker.

"Correct your problem now or take me home." The only effect the forest had on you...it effected your powers and kept you from leaving...yet it enlightened your other main senses."

Mi'lord...I'm human and I have no weakness to play the game you so choose to play." I said as I lied straight through my teeth....

Sesshomaru is and always will be my weakness.

*Scene*

Teleported to another part of the palace, a part that was not disturbed by the fire.

Raven sits on the edge of a massive bed. Lord Sesshomaru between Raven's legs as he pushes her back.

"Your not wear...you say.." Yet I sense you would do anything wanted of you." Yet...maybe I should be more gentle with you." He said as he smelled me from my knees and paused at my stomach. I took a deep breath..No don't sense that...

"Could it be you are with Child?" Lord Sesshomaru said as he placed his hand on my stomach.

"Your senses are wrong once again." It has been only a week since my last monthly." I said lying.

"That being the case, shall we try harder." He said as I slapped his hand off my stomach.

"You...mi'lord are a sick sadistic bastard...If you couldn't get it right the first time, then what makes you think you could do it right this time?" I asked regretting my words.

In this case it was true, Raven's words struck Lord Sesshomaru the wrong way...
