We left off with Raven passing away.. it just proved that Lord Sesshomaru had been right all along

(Humans are Weak).

Or...are we?

"Son she is gone." You must stop this, leave before I have you join her." Lord Inu-no-Taishou said trying to pull his son back to reality. At least stir him up a bit.

Lord Inu-no-Taishou's eyes widened as he felt he may have stirred his son up a bit too much.

He watched as Sesshomaru reached for a sword he had never seen before.( Bakusaiga).

Then he stops and grabs the Tenseiga that is quiet.

"It's useless, said it once before and I'll say it again." Sesshomaru said letting it fall from his hand to the floor at his father's feet before turning back to Raven's lifeless body.

"I, Sesshomaru, know not how..but I..love you." He whispered before backing away took one last look at his father before leaving Maymay's home.

Lord Inu-no-Taishou looked at Raven, before looking at Kaede and Maymay then to Rin who was sitting and crying her little heart out.

It took the death of a human to break the ice that surrounded

his son's heart.

* Underworld*

One foot in the light.

My unborn moves the first time being here.

Could it be hearing his father's words stirred him back.

I turn back toward the way I came, I am so tired, not knowing if I can go at it alone. I thought as I placed a hand on my belly.

"Damn him into Hell!" I'll kill him myself if he didn't mean what he said." I said walking away from the light.

*Maymay*

Maymay cried as she went to cover the girl's body, but pausing as the baby in her belly began to move and kick one powerful kick.

She was in shock at the sight.

Outside, Kagome and Inuyasha got off of Ah-Un and coming to Sesshomaru, who was with his mother.

Something was not right, Lady Inukimi of all people was crying as her son walked away. Jaken ran after him.

"Stay Jaken." Sesshomaru ordered without stopping nor turning to look at his follower for over hundreds of years.

Jaken stops in place and watches his master give up. Something he never though he would do.

* Inside the home *

Tenseiga began to vibrate on the floor.

Everyone was in too much of a shock to go for it.

"That ah girl, I knew you wouldn't be so weak as many others." Lord Inu-no-Taishou said as he picked up Tenseiga, raising the

'Heavenly Fang' and swung at the pallbearer imps.

"Ey, ye's child is coming mi'lord." Kaede yelled as she went to help birth the unborn.

"Then bring it into this world..old woman."

"Welcome back..Lady WhiteEagle." He said as he looked into my birth paining eyes as I let out a scream as I went to bare down to push a creature that had been dying to get out of me.

"It's a boy." Kaede said handing it to Maymay for her to clean after making him take his first breath.

"What the hell was that." Inuyasha asked as he rushed in finding his father helping birth his brother's child.

"It's a boy." Lord Inu-no-Taishou said holding his first grandchild.

Inuyasha followed his father out of the home.

"Hey Jackass...You have a son!!" Inuyasha yelled to the wind since his brother was no where to be found.

Jaken stood up slowly and began to walk toward Lord Inu-no-Taishou to see the new arrival.

"Mi'Lord." Lady Inukimi said not surprized at her late husband's sight as she bowed to greet him.

Her human daughter did her job well.

*Kagome*

"Raven, oh my God we were told.."Oh never mind." Kagome said leaning down to hug me.

"Where is Lord Sesshomaru?" He was here right? He did see his son?" I asked as I felt another slight pain coming.

Sweat beads began to form once again on my forehead as Rin wiped them away with a cold wet rag.

Outside

"A boy, we shall care for him till his father comes around to gather him." Inukimi said as she looks in on the newborn for the first time that Lord Inu-no-Taishou held in his arms.

"Yes mi'dear, he is full blooded." It won't be necessary." he said as both looked up to see Sesshomaru. Standing too far away to see his son, just staring at the bundle in his parents arms.

Looks at both in silence as if to say to them..Keep it. Before turning away to leave once again.

"Is he that broken?" Lord Inu-no-Taishou asked.

"Lord...Sessho...maru!!!" I screamed as I caught another birth pain.

Sesshomaru stops with his back to all, then slowly turning around wide eyed before starting back

toward her cries.

Inu-no-Taishou smiled.

"As I was saying, the boy has both parents to raise his butt." Lord Inu-no-Taishou said as he handed the newborn to his father.

Kagome came out minutes later with another bundle in her arms.

"Oh my..Oddly we have a girl, but there is a problem." She said as Sesshomaru and his parents looked at her.

"Ok, maybe not a big problem. But she is her mother's daughter. She has her mother's hair and god forbid her father's markings." kagome said as she hand the child to her father as well.

Sure enough, she donned slick black Raven hair, yet she donned the crescent moon and one set of stripes.

Sesshomaru walked through the door with both of his children in his arms.

The sight was too much for me to keep from crying.

Never dreamed I'd see the day as I remembered the night in the Forbidden Forest.

"Please tell me you meant what you said...or did I waste my time to come back?" I asked as I touched Sesshomaru's face.

"You saved me..I'll give you that." I meant all I say..but you won't hear it again." He said as he bent down and kissed me a kiss I'll kill for in a few weeks from now.

"I'll take that as a yes mi'Lord." Beautiful isn't she?" I said as I took my daughter to my chest and she and I locked eyes, the eyes of her father..Golden /amber.

My white feather turned out to be a reminder I died. Now instead of the feather, I now have a long white lock of hair I wear proudly that I chose not to give up..
