Lovelyn Pov:

I just came back from school it was my first year in high school I was so tried ,but I still managed to the dance room .. Yes I have a dance room in my house . I'm an only child I live in Cali I live in a big house with both of my parents I have a iPhone what do you expect I live a perfect life.. Well that's what I thought. I just got done dancing I walked to the kitchen to see my parents arguing and screaming at each other.

"What's going ?" I said my voice shaking cause I never seen my parents fight like this. My mom looked at me with tears in her eyes walking towards me she ran her fingers through my long jet black hair and whispered in my ear "go upstairs" I swallowed and nodded my head and went upstairs. I went to my room and locked my door I picked up my phone and dialed my best friends number Roc. We been bestfriend since 1st grade. On the second ring he answered with his voice sounding tried he might had been sleeping but I needed him with me. " Can you come over. Please" I heard him sign and I heard movement knowing that he was getting out of bed "Yeah give me five !" A smiled came across my face " Okayy! My window will be open" " alright see yea, I love you" " I love you too " I than hanged up the phone and opened my window I couldn't help but to think about Roc I know that's weird cause he's like my bestfriend but he's so sweet, and attractive but I know he wouldn't go for me. I jumped on my bed and went on twitter I than heard my window close I looked up to see roc in a black v- neck, cargos, and some Jordan's he looked at me and smiled showing he's k9s he came up to me and have me a big hug. He smelled so good

End Pov

Roc: Hey loser

Lovelyn: geezz thanks but heyy

Roc: you know I love you *smiles*

Lovelyn: Yeaaahhh *rolls her eyes*

Roc Pov:

Me and lovelyn were chilling on her bed watching the boondocks she had her head on my chest I couldn't help but to smile and play with her hair until we heard a loud scream lovelyn got up so fast and ran to her door "MOM!?!" Lovelyn said rushing down the stairs I was right be hide her until she stopped dead in her tracks I look over in the living room seeing Mrs. Harris laying on the floor with a full puddle of blood. Lovelyn had wide-eyes she was breathing fast tears streaming down her face she ran to wear her mom was "Mommy ! Wake up! Mom!" I took out my phone and dialed 9-1-1 I looked for Mr.Harris he was in his room crying in his hands I can hear hims saying to himself "what have you done" I walked out and went where lovelyn was I pulled her towards me hugging her while she was crying in my chest. We stayed there for about 5 minutes until the ambulance came and took Mrs.Harris and the cops took Mr.Harris to the police station. Lovelyn couldn't even face him she stayed in my arms. That same night I stayed with lovelyn till the next day...
