Selenas POV:
“Wow, the stage is amazing. So is this venue. I haven’t been here in forever.” I said out loud really to any one who was listening. Justin was right by my side admiring the venue with me “I can’t believe I sold this place out.”
“And you’re going to put on a hell of a show baby. I can’t wait to watch you.” He said as she wrapped his arms around my torso and rested his head against mine “I’m going to be right there.” He said pointing to a spot in the crowd “Right in the front, singing along to every song and dancing. No backstage view for me for your first show.”
“Thank you babe.” I said sincerely as we headed backstage where everyone else was getting things set up for the show tomorrow.
-
“So we’re all set?” I asked my tour manager.
“Yup looks like it, you guys go have fun.” She said with a smile.
“I’m going to go change and I’ll be out in 10 babe.” I said as I kissed Justin’s cheek, grabbed my bag I carried with me off of the plane and ran down the hall.
Justins POV:
I changed into some black jeans, with dark grey shoes and a cream colored button up shirt. I leaned against the wall next to Selena’s dressing room where she was changing. I checked my phone and saw we had 40 minutes to get to our reservations.
“Selena baby come on! You look gorgeous.” I said through the door.
She didn’t reply but I heard her heels clicking on the floor in there as she ran around trying to finish getting ready. A few more minutes passed and just before I was about to knock again she ripped open the door in a hurry and ran right into me.
“Oh I’m sorry I didn’t know you were right there.” She laughed as she tucked her curls behind her ears.
I gave her a smirk and grabbed her hand taking a step back to admire her outfit. She had on a tight creamy pink colored dress with matching heels. She curled her hair and threw on a little make up.
“It always amazes me how beautiful you are.” I said quietly looking her dead in the eyes.
I saw her cheeks turn red just as I was hoping they would and she leaned in placing a light kiss on my lips.
“Thank you for always making me feel beautiful.” She said as she rested her head on my shoulder.
-
“So where are we going?” She asked without taking her eyes off of the city.
“Selena.” I said causing her to look at me “We’re almost there and I promise it’ll be worth it.”
We pulled up to the hotel walked inside and I saw Selena look around. I was hoping she wouldn’t remember just yet, but even if she did. I knew she wouldn’t say anything till we were up in the room. We got in the elevator and started heading up to one of the top floors. Selena grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly. I looked over at her and smiled.
As the elevator came to a stop Selena finally spoke “Justin.. is this..” but when the elevator door opened our server was there with a bouquet of flowers that he handed to Selena.
“Merci.” She said to him as I directed her through the hotel room and to the balcony.
There was a small table with two chairs and the Eiffel Tower in perfect view.
“Oh my god, Justin!” She shirked as she saw the view. I knew she remembered now.
“Do you like it?” I asked as I pulled out her chair for her.
“Yes, of course I do babe. This is where we took one of my favorite pictures of us. They re-did the lobby, but I’m so happy this room is still the same.” She said in awe as she looked around the room and then looked out over Paris.
“I’m glad you like it.” I said with a satisfied smile.
“Like it? I love it babe.” She said as she squeezed my hand tightly.
Selenas POV:
I knew something seemed familiar about this place, Justin had brought me here when we were teens just a few months before we broke up. This is where my he took my favorite picture of us. I used to look at it when we weren’t together anymore, I’d re-live the memory that took place right in this room over and over again. Wishing I could just come back to that moment. We were so in love then, just like we are now.
I could feel myself getting emotional like I was going to cry, so I took a sip of my drink and took a deep breath trying to control myself.
“Are you okay babe?” Justin asked curiously.
“Yeah, I’m just.. overwhelmed.” I admitted looking down at my empty plate “And hungry. Haha I’m ready to eat.”
-
I was able to put my emotions in the back of my mind and just enjoy this amazing dinner Justin set up for us. But I felt like I should tell him how I’m feeling, I knew it wouldn’t upset him. I was just so happy with him, it seemed impossible to put it into words.
Justin went to the bathroom after dinner and I walked over to the balcony to look at the view. It hadn’t changed at all in the past 4 years. I checked the time and it was 950 I knew that at 10 the Eiffel Tower lights up for a few minutes.
I felt Justin’s hands slowly wrap around my waist.
“Beautiful view isn’t it?” He said in my ear as we both looked over the city.
“It hasn’t changed a bit.” I breathed “Do you remember how happy we were the first time we came here?”
“Yes. It’s the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.. besides now of course.” He said as he squeezed me tightly.
“I wish I could explain to you how much this means to me Jusitn.. I really do.” I stuttered over my words, I wished I could find a way to tell him how happy I am right now. But words just couldn’t describe it.
“Well I’m glad baby. I was hoping this would mean a lot to you.”
“More than a lot Justin. When we weren’t together I used to dream of this place, of the nights we had here. This was the happiest moment in our relationship back there for me..” I admitted. I knew he’d understand. The week we had here was perfect, we weren’t bugged by paparazzi and any fans we met were beyond nice and respectful.
“I remember babe, that’s why I wanted to come here. We’ve come so far in our relationship. And soon you’re going to be Mrs. Bieber. I just never want you to forget how much I love you. And that I’ve always loved you and I will always love you till the day I die.” He said turning my body around touching our foreheads together.
“Let me tell you a story, about a girl and boy. He fell in love with his best friend. When she’s around he fells nothing but joy.” He sang as he rocked me back and forth.
I kissed his lips before he was able to continue, we kissed passionately for a minute or so. And it was like we planned it or something. As soon as we pulled our lips apart and looked into each others eyes the Eiffel Tower started to light up. We stood there hand in hand, watching the Tower just like we did four years ago.
Even though so many things have changed in the past few years, our love for each other is still strong as ever.
