It was Monday. A very boring Monday. I hadn't seen Carson all day. Things have been off since that night. We haven't talked since. And I missed her.

"Pussy." Sage mutters as he shoves me into the lockers.

They all laugh and continue to walk down the hall. I roll my eyes and I keep on walking to my class. As I was about to walk in, I see Carson from down the hall. She was putting books away. And she looked so beautiful. I look into class and see that the teacher wasn't there. I walk down the hall toward Carson.

"Hello, Stranger." She smiles as she puts her back pack on.

"Hello, Miss Woodridge."

"You going to class?"

I shake my head. "Not feeling it today."

She laughs and shakes her head. "No, neither am I."

"You wanna do something?"

"Id love to."

"You know a place, or am I going to have to-"

"I know a place." Carson says. "Follow me."

Carson's P.O.V

We stood outside my house. I look at Ethan and he frowns a little in confusion.

"The place is your house?" He asks.

I shake my head. "Nope."

I open the front door and I lead Ethan to the back yard. We stood in front of an old tree and Ethan smiled.

"This is cool." He said. "Ladies first."

I lead the way into the tree house. All that was in it was two bean bags and a little rug.

"I know it's not the best but-"

"Are you kidding me?" Ethan asks. "This is so sick."

I laugh and I lean against the tree. The light from the sun came inside, the leaves causing it to only bring out little specks of light. Ethan leaned on the tree too and faced me.

"Do you want to talk about the other night?"

I shrug. "I don't know."

"How long do you have left?" He asks.

"Two months and a bit." I reply.

"Yeah, me too."

I stare at the ground as I feel tears pinch my eyes. "Ethan?"

He looks down at me and grabs my hand.

"I'm scared." I whisper.

He placed his fingers underneath my chin and I look up at him. Ethan smiled at me and I saw the pain in his eyes.

"Don't be scared." Ethan assures. "I promise, we will time out on each other."

"We won't." I cry.

"We can-"

"You meet the one you love the day you time out." I say. "It won't work."

"I'm going to make it work." Ethan nods. "I promise. It's going to be you and I."
