"Chelsea breakfast is ready!" My mom shouts
This is not how I should be waking up! It's summer, so I shouldn't have to wake up like this. I look at the clock on my nightstand it reads, 9:32am. I guess it isn't that early but still.
I slowly make my way downstairs. I see my mom eating breakfast.
"Good morning sweetie! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" My mom says excitedly
Oh did I mention today is my birthday. You'd think id be having some big crazy fun party but I'm not. I don't have many friends, just my best friend Lindsey or Linds for short.
"I made you breakfast, it's on the counter when you want it. I've got to go to work, but I'll be home by 6. Oh and by the way I've got something planned tonight for your 16th birthday!" She said smiling
"Can I invite Lindsey over?" I ask
"Of course you can!" She practically screams
With that she leaves out the front door. Since I'm an only child I'm home alone. I decide to text Lindsey.
To Linds👭💩❤️: Hey! Wanna come over? I'm home alone and I feel lonely:(
I get a text back almost immediately.
From Linds👭💩❤️: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BESTIE😘 I'll be over in like 10 mins! I don't have anything to do today so I can spend the night!
I set down my pink iPhone 5c, because that's my fave color. I go over to the counter and eat my pancakes, and bacon my mom made me. Since I was still in my pajamas I decided to get ready. I quickly ran up the stairs to my bedroom, and picked out an outfit. I chose a floral pink and purple skater skirt with a white loose crop top.
I hopped in the shower and scrubbed my body. I got out and dried myself off, and put on the outfit. I put on some makeup that consist of white eyeshadow, eyeliner, and a little mascara to lengthen my lashes. I just brushed my hair out and curled it. As soon as I was done the doorbell rang.
I quickly ran down the stairs and opened the front door. There stood a very excited looking Linds.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" She screamed, I think the whole neighborhood heard her.
"THANK YOU!" I mimic her.
I let her in and she starting going upstairs to my bedroom to put her stuff down. I followed her up and sat on the edge of my bed.
"So my mom said that she has something planned for my birthday tonight, but I'm not sure what it is. So we have until 6 when she comes back home" I tell Linds.
"I can stay for that right?" she asks
"Of course! I hope I get those Magcon tickets tonight!" I say
Me and Linds are obsessed with the Magcon boys. I've been begging my parents for tickets for about 6 months now. I probably won't get the tickets tho. My favorite is Nash, his blue eyes, his charming personality, his adorable smile, he's perfect. Lindsey's favorite is Cam, she says that his brown eyes make her melt, and his bad boy side is to die for. Oh Linds you scare me sometimes.
For the next hour we just sit there talking about the Magcon boys. After that we get bored, so I come up the genius idea of watching movies. I chose Hunger Games because that's one of my faves. We end up just laying on my bed watching movies the rest of the day. At around 6 I hear my mom come thru the door.
We walk down the stairs, when my mom sees us she comes over and hugs me.
"So what I have planned tonight is to have a nice dinner, then open your presents" my mom tells us
"I'll have dinner ready in about 30 minutes"
Me and Linds go over to the living room next to the kitchen and sit on the couch. We watch f.r.i.e.n.d.s, which is our fave show to watch. My mom calls us for dinner. When we are walking over to the dining room my dad walks thru the front door.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELS!" He exclaims
"Thanks! oh and dinner is ready" I tell him
"Ok I'll be right there" he says
We all sit down and wait for my mom to bring the food in. She brings in mashed potatoes (nashed potatoes😂😂), grilled chicken, and a giant fruit bowl, my fave of course.
"OMG this is amazing!" I exclaim
"Thanks! I try" my mom laughs
After we're done eating, my mom brings in the cake and they sing happy birthday. We then eat the cake and head to the living room where all the presents are. We all sit on the couch and I start to open up my presents.
I've opened up about 5 that consist of; clothes, a new phone case, and some money. I had one present left.
"I think you'll really like this one" my dad says rather confidently
He hands me a small box, I open it to find two tickets to Magcon!
"OMG THANK YOU! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!" I cheer
Me and Linds start to jump all around, and do some type of happy dance.
"Wait when is it" Linds asks
"In three days so you better start packing" my mom tells us
"Linds help me pack?" I ask/demand
She nods her head in agreement, and we head upstairs to my bedroom. We start to pack my stuff, and once we're done we talk about what were gonna do when we meet the boys, because we had V.I.P tickets.
"When I go up to Cam I'm gonna try to stay as calm and cool as possible, so I don't seem like I obsess over him and scare him" Linds says with a smile
"When I meet Nash I'm just gonna talk to him like any other normal guy, because that's what he is, just a normal guy who happens to be perfect" I laugh
After our little discussion about what were gonna do when we meet them, we decide to go to sleep.
I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I put on my pajamas, and let Linds in the bathroom. We both sleep on my bed and start to fall asleep.
I fall asleep almost instantly thinking about how today was perfect. And about how in three days all my dreams will be a reality.
