Yay! I've been really excited about writing this story for a while now. I promised myself that if "She dreamed of her memories" reached 100 views I would start on my next story.

I'm not really sure how the idea of 'A hunk of nothing' came about, and I know it has a funny title. But in due time all of your questions will be answered throughout the story.

Before you begin with this story, I would like to thank all of the people who have encouraged me to keep writing, and have corrected me of my errors. I wouldn't have the courage to write if it wasn't for you, and therefore I wouldn't be able to progress in my writing.

So, lets begin. Sha'll we?

~ Nadira Anna Riley ~

"My country tis of thee,

Sweet land of liberty,

Of thee I sing,

Land where my fathers died!

Land of the pilgrems pride!

From every mountain side,

Let freedom ring!" - Samual Francis Smith.

A Hunk Of Nothing - Introduction

There are some things men tell you, somethings that they want you to believe.

But do you?

I would like you to - for one moment just to ask yourself.

Do you believe in those Men's words?

Men once told us that we lived in the 'Land of the free'. And because we lived in that land of freedom, we were free. They were right though, and still are. We are free from disease, and war. We are free from the world. Bound by laws of our goverment we have lived in comfort and peace for over two-hundred years.

Funny how no one has complained about being locked into the land of freedom. Not being able to escape was a good thing to people. They could walk outside and feel safe, sleep feeling safe, be happy and safe.

But a few of us just didn't want to be in the land of the free, we wanted to have freedom. Freedom was out of America. That was the only way we could get it, we had to leave.

This is a story, and you are the reader. And although I'd prefer showing you what I've been through. I don't think that would be possible in these circumstances. It's been tough now of days.

I know you won't believe me when I tell you America is no longer free. But if you read this story of my adventures, and what I've discovered to be true, I'm sure I can change your mind.

This is a story about how four teenagers, did what teenagers do and rebelled. This is a story of how the word 'free', became freedom.

Sincerely, Miranda Hialona.

P.S - Don't go hating America after what I just told you. It still is a beautiful place with beautiful people. Okay?
