Story Of My Life

The graduation present.

"C'mon Linz, we have to go" my best friend Sabrina said.

"Don't call me Linz it's too early for that, and I don't feel like getting up" I said into my pillow.

"Fine, miss your surprise." she answered back.

"Shut up so I can get up" I said back.

Today is the day of the graduation party my mom is throwing for me, I'm excited about graduating just not being social. I usually just spend time with Sabrina or home alone on my laptop.

I start with a shower then I dry off my body and hair. I don't usually wear make-up, so I just braid my damp hair and put a headband in.

After digging in my closet for a while I finally found something decent.

A navy blue and white mid- thigh dress with a pair of black sandals and diamond earrings.

After getting dressed me and Sabrina were on our way to my moms house.

Sabrina and I live in an apartment for now then when she is 20 and I am 19 were moving to California for 2 years.

After 20 minutes of driving we finally arrived at my moms house. It was hot outside,normal Louisiana summer weather.

We walked inside to see everyone just lounging around normally dressed.

"Hey guys what's up?" I asked my mom,sister,nephews, grandma, and grandpa.

"Close your eyes Hun" my mom said to me as I closed them.

She brought me into the kitchen to sit down and gave me rectangular box. I opened it in shock.

"NO WAY MOM THANK YOU" I screamed out.

"No problem Linzie, your dad helped. Sorry he's not here he's bowling right now but he will be home later. The tickets are for you and Sabrina, floor seats."

Later that day me and Sabrina went home with two floor seat One Direction tickets. How amazing is this.
