What is Your Favorite Nirvana Lyric?
My Favorite Lyric:
Its so hard to choose, but my favorite lyric is probably "I'm not like them,but I can pretend" from
Dumb. Not only is sung so beautifully, but it is so relatable for me. It has been a long and difficult year for me (it could be worse) and this lyric really sums up the way that I decided to deal with it. I started a new school and I tried really hard for like the first two weeks to try and fit in. It was like three weeks into school and was kind of like, fuck the whole blending in thing. I just decided to be myself and whenever I needed to tone it down I was capable of being able to pretend since I'm so different. I don't really like faking it though. I just have a different outlook on fitting in than I used too. I'm also very happy with how that outlook changed.
