History Lesson

  The friends sat with Nora learning about Fodea Bestia. They wanted to know everything about him as they could. Nora still weakened from the previous events made some lemon tea. The friends searched their journals for anything on him.

" Your are wasting your time looking at that. Sit down and I'll tell you about Fodea." Nora told them.

  The friends grabbed some tea and sat at the table. They had many questions about this demon. Who is he and why did he want them?

" Fodea is centuries old. Your ancestors weakened him in the past, he layed dormant for years but now he's back and want's your power. He was an average man until dark magic took over. Bestia became obessed and the evil consumed him. Now h-" Nora continued.

" Why does want our power? How did they weaken him?" Felix asked interrupting Nora.

" Hush child and listen." Nora commanded.  

  Felix and his friends sat down calmly. They listened to Nora explain that they were more powerful than their ancestors and Fodea wanted their powers to make, him more powerful. He also wanted to make the friends use dark magic. Nora believed that his minions would help him achieve this.  The friends took notes and listened to Nora until day turned to evening.  As usual the friends went to the beach before they day ended.  Something however, was  not right.

"  Look what the cat dragged in, six magical teenagers." Fodea Bestia said.

  He combined the little black blobs into two statues. The statues transported the kids to a old house. When they awoke they were all chained together and sitting in a old, dusty, small cellar. Fodea was brewing something when they gained back consciousness. 

" You have awakened just in time for me to strip you of your powers." He said.

" We are not afraid of you and Nora will come." Jaya yelled.

" Ha you should be and I have no doubt she will come. Nora will try and kill me but, just like in the past she will fail." Fodea Bestia murmered.

" Do you two know each other?" Vela gasped.

" We go back a few centuries." He answered.

" Giving your life story dear." Nora said appearing out of thin air. The kids gave a sigh of relief. 

" Nora so sorry your not dead. Today's not the day to play hero." Fodea said.

" Shut up you old dog! You will not harm these kids." Nora warned.

" How do you know each other?" Shreya demanded.

" That's a long story, but should I tell it?" Fodea asked.

" Oh go on before we destroy you." Nora retorted.

" Nora and I meet centuries ago. She knew when I was just a normal man and stuck with me after. Nora is my wife." Fodea Bestia explained while Nora shook her head.

" It is something I regret and my husband here is dead to me." Nora asured the kids.

" We are still married honey." Fodea said causing Nora to roll her eyes.

   The friends were shocked and couldn't respond. They watched as Fodea made his minions chain Nora to a wall she looked distrout.

" Why aren't you using magic?" Kane asked.

" I could ask you all the same thing. The chains are made of silver which limits our powers." Nora replied.

" We are scared, cold, and powerless." Adam said.

" Just the way I like them. I have to go get some herbs. Stay here." Fodea said mocking them. 

" When I get back the power draining will begin." He told his minions.

  Before he left he looked at Nora with a twinkle in his eye. He snapped his fingers and in a blink of an eye Nora looked like, a block of ice. He had frozen her on the wall, unable to do anything. The kid looked in dismay, they had no one to help the or Nora.

" Were gonna die." Adam said crying.

" Be a man and get a grip!" Jaya said slapping him.

" We won't die until he drains our power. He will release eventually and then we strike." Jaya continued.

" Yes, Jaya warrior princess." Kane said mocking her, making his friends laugh.

" She's right once he loosens the chains we can use our powers." Felix  said in agreement. 

" Thanks, Felix." Jaya said.

" No problem." Felix countered.

" Ok, let's move on before these two agree on anything else." Vela said.

  The kids could tell it was dark outside and knew their parents would be worried. They laid out a plan while Fodea was out. They would get out and make themselves and Nora proud. They fell asleep during the night. When they woke up Felix looked at his watch. It was seven o'clock in the moring.

" Wake up guys." He said.

" How long were we asleep?" Adam iniquired.

" According, to my watch it's been three whole days." Felix said.

" Shit, do we still have powers?" Kane said.

" Don't know." Shreya cried out.

" I guess Fodea won't be coming for a while." Vela said breaking the silence.

    The friends sat their awaiting their doom. Fodea would get what he wanted: their powers. Nora wouldn't be able to help them and they would never see their parents again. Evil had offically taken over that day. All hope was lost and rain began to pour.
