..................Mysterious Person's POV........................

"Berk? I vaguely remember hearing it said by Drago. He was going to take Berk for his own. Wait....you must work for Drago!" I concluded that this Valka must work for that evil man because he always, always got what he set his mind on. I had seen him pillage and destroy villages and homes, and kill innocent people including children. He never lost a battle.
With one hand still aiming the sword at her, I moved towards the window and once there I rolled out backwards and ran.
"Wait! We don't work for Drago!" Valka called out from the window.

Not listening I ran past many huts and vikings and dragons. I need to get out of the town, find a small raft or boat and sail far far away.
"Toothless dive!" A man's voice instructed from above.
"Not today. I am not dying today." I stopped and turned to face the dragon and its rider face on.
"Steady Toothless, don't hurt her. Ma'am please calm down. We aren't the enemy." The man that spoke wasn't muscular or intimidating, but rather skinny and tall. And standing beneath him in all its glory was a Night Fury.
"They still exist!" I dropped to my knees as I said this and admired the beautiful creature that stood with such supremacy and intensity before me. Then my mind started to take notice of the rider. He didn't look nasty or mean and he obviously took great care of the immense dragon below him. A crowd had begun to circle around me in curiosity. I stood up and turned to cast a look over them and spotted a familiar face.
"Eret? Is that you?"
"Uh...yes my name is Eret but I don't recall ever meeting you." He stepped forward as he spoke.
"We never properly met. I just know you through the trappers that guarded my cage. Is it true that you don't work for Drago?" I asked slowly with interest.
"Drago is dead. You have nothing to fear here." He replied.

I suddenly felt relaxed and at peace. Drago was gone, dead, never to be seen again. He would never kill or dominate another innocent dragon or destroy entire villages with women and children.

"If Drago is dead.... I have nothing to fear. No longer will I be hunted. Please, accept my deepest apologies for running from your maid. I was only scared." I looked back towards the Night Fury rider.
"Apology excepted. Perhaps Eret would like to show you around the village. My name is Hiccup Haddock. And I'm the Chief of this island. The 'maid' that you spoke of is actually my mother, Valka. And this is Toothless." Hiccup gestured to Toothless the Night Fury. I nodded in understanding and agreed to let Eret show me around the place.

"And last but not least, the Dragon Arena. This is where we train dragons. It's also used as an assembly area." Eret finished. He had showed me all around the village, stables, Great Hall, the wharf and coastline and now the Dragon Arena.
"I have to admit, this place is pretty cool. If this is where you train dragons, how come there aren't any here?" I asked with interest. He pointed up to the sky. Sure enough I could see several different species flying around and racing each other. Hiccup was up there on Toothless. That's when I noticed he had a girl sitting behind him.
"Who's the girl?"
"That would be Astrid. Hiccup's fiancé. She rides a Deadly Nadder named Stormfly." Eret concluded. He then looked at me with a hint of hope.
"Did you ever ride a dragon?"
"Heh.....yes. I used to have a cave full of dragons. However, when I say full, there was about fifteen dragons. All different species. One of my favourites was a male Woolly Howl. He was so beautiful and whenever it was really cold, he would come and lie down and shelter me from the cold breeze. I wonder where he is now?" I said the last part with a wondering tone.
"Who knows. Maybe you will find him again. In the meantime, if you would like, we can find you a dragon." Eret said with some enthusiasm.
"I don't suppose you have any Night Fury's lying around?" I joked. He laughed but shook his head. Just then a Rumblehorn came and landed next to Eret.
"This is Skullcrusher. He used to be the former Chief's dragon, Stoick the Vast. Drago killed him. So Hiccup passed the responsibility to me."
"He's beautiful, and healthy. You are a very lucky man to ride such a creature as this." I allowed Skullcrusher to sniff me and then he nudged me trustingly.
"Would you like to ride him?" Eret gestured to the saddle.
"Are.....are you sure?"
"Please, I would like you to."

Skullcrusher, although bulky and strong, was as graceful as a bird in the sky. He glided smoothly through the chilly air and obeyed the slightest command. Eret was watching from the arena with a big smile.
"This isn't your first time flying is it?" A male voice came from behind me. I turned to see Hiccup and Toothless.
"No it isn't. But it has been just over six months and it feels like a lifetime." I replied with a hint of sadness. Hiccup decided not to pry anymore but instead he clicked something with his metal leg, which I only then noticed, that affected Toothless's tail.
"What happed to his tail fin?" I asked quickly. Hiccup stood up on Toothless and answered my question.
"Before Vikings and dragons were at peace we would hunt and kill them. My father initially always viewed me as this skinny scrawny kid that never did anything useful. So I decided to attempt to shoot down a Night Fury. Toothless was that Night Fury. Of course not a single soul believed me so the next day I went out in search and found him wrapped in a bola." Hiccup hesitated here and kneeled down carefully and rubbed Toothless.
"I couldn't kill him. When he looked at me and then accepted his fate, I saw myself. So I cut him loose. Anyway, long story short. I found him again a couple of days later in a cove not far from here. I was sketching him when I noticed a tail fin was missing. After that I made the decision to befriend him. One thing led to another and soon everyone had dragons in the end. Now we help protect and preserve dragons of all kinds and try to show people that they aren't the enemy. They are amazing and smart creatures that can bring us together. But I'm assuming that you already know that dragons aren't the problem?" Hiccup asked with a raised eyebrow.
I nodded without saying anything. If only he knew my back story. He would then realise that I was the danger.
"Okay Skullcrusher. Let's go back to Eret."

We landed and I slid off, thanking Eret for the ride but saying that I had a few things to attend to. He went to say something but I had already disappeared out of the arena gates.
