Jasmine POV
It's been a few weeks since the argument and she's never responded to any of my messages, calls, snaps nothing. She's been off social media too. I called Chenelle to ask if she's heard of her lately and she too hasn't been able to contact her. Maybe she's just being low for rn.I through on my light blue nike sweats with a plain white tee, and my Nike socks with my slides on. I put my hair in a bun and grabbed my keys before I locked and left my house.
I got there just as someone was going into the apartment building. I got to her apartment and it was quiet... deadly quiet. There's always something playing music, tv, her singing .. something! I knocked on the door and it stayed the same. Got extremely still and put my ear against the door. I heard movement and then something falling to the ground. I stepped back and I pushed the door with all my might. It didn't work so I kicked the knob and the door flew open. I walked in and my eyes landed on Kikyo hanging from the sealing attempting to kill herself. I grabbed her by her legs and pulled her further to the ceiling to release the pressure and give her air to breathe. I didn't know what to do. I can't let her go she'll start choking again. I pulled out my phone and called 911.
About 15 minutes had went by before help had arrived and took my place and got her out of this situation safely. She was barely holding on to life and it scared me. She can not leave me . I called Chenelle and told her to hurry to the hospital as soon as possible. I was inside the ambulance with them until they were ready to leave. I'll follow in my car.
Thoughts were coming into my mind like crazy.
What if I never came?
I would've stopped at the store first?
What if I would've swallowed my pride and came here weeks before today?
Why'd she attempt suicide? What was she going through? She was doing well... so well, no real issues except for the incident between us. Something so minor couldn't have pushed her to edge? Could it?
I parked my car as soon as I got there and ran to the ambulance. Chenelle and the family had arrived a few minutes after me. I explained what happened and we waited for the results
