Savea Solo

chapter 6

A.N. This will be the last part of A New Hope. It will pick up in The Empire Strikes back.

Luke's pov.
It was sad to see Han walk away. But Savea is staying, Han asked me to look after her. There's something about Savea, she makes my heart race. I want to talk to her more, see her smile, help her with whatever programs she faces. It looks like I get a chance to do that. I made my way to my finger. R2 was being lifted into position as I made my way up the ladder to my seat.
"Hey, this R2 unit of yours seems a bit beat up. You want a new one?" One of the engineers asked me.
"Not on your life. They little droid and I have been through a lot together.
You okay R2?" I asked R2. He beeped which i think meat yes. "Good." I then jumped into my seat and got ready to take off. Once everything was ready, the hood went down and I was ready to take on whatever Darth Vader threw at us. I'm going to be the amazing luke, Savea wants me to be.
"Luke, the force will be with you."
I heard Ben's voice in my head as I took off. I took his words and got myself ready. My heart was beating was we got closer to the Death Star. Come on Luke! Focus! Savea wants you to be great, so I will for her.

Savea watched worried as Luke flew away. Knowing that were was a small chance that Luke could get killed. Then she realized that she had to say goodbye to her brother.
"Carp! I have to say goodbye to Han!" Savea ran to where her brother was.
"There you are. I thought you had forgotten about us."

"Never. I was saying by to Luke.
"Oh your boyfriend?" "He's not my boyfriend."
"He cares about you savea, he really does. He's going to take good Care of you." Han said with a weak smile.
"Do you have to go? Stay for a little while, then go pay off Jabba."

"I have to go. In fact in 2 minutes."
"I'm gonna miss you. Chewie keep a eye on him for me." Chewie roared back then gave a big hug. Then me and I Han hugged. I started to cry.
"I love you little sister. Take care of yourself. Don't do anything stupid. Tell Luke bye for me and tell him if he hurts you I'll come across this galaxy if I have to. I love so so much Savea. I have to go."
"Okay." I was crying. Savea watched has the falcon left. When she couldn't see the falcon anymore she ran to the control room were Leia was.
"Everything alright out there?" Savea asked Leia as she entered the room. Leia looked worried.
"Is something going to tell me something!"
Finally Leia answered her.
"We've lost a lot of fighters, it seems Luke is the only one left."
"Oh God." I said in a worried voice.
"Has Han left?"
"Yes. Yes he did." I was not going to cry in front of everyone.
"He's turned off his computer. Luke you switched off your targeting computer!" Someone on the room informed us. "Luke what are you doing?" Savea whispered to herself. Without his computer, he wouldn't be able to get a clean shot.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I'm alright." Luke answered. Savea and Leia then heard shots and heard a computer like scream.
"I've lost R2." Luke said.
"The death star has cleared the planet." An alarm sounded in the room. Leia and Savea looked at each other with worry before putting their attention back on Luke.
Blasts then sounded again, but Luke was fine.

"Yahoo!!!" S
Savea heard her brother. She was shocked. "Han??!?!" Said to herself.
"Your all clear kid! Now let's blow this thing and go home!"
Savea smiled at her brothers chance of heart. Luke then shoot. And that was the end of the Death Star.
"Great shot kid! That was one in a million!"
"He did it!" Leia cheered before hugging Savea.
"He sure did!!"
As soon has Luke Got back, Savea ran for him. These feelings she had for him couldn't stop anymore. She saw him getting out of the fighter.
Her smile began to form as she ran to him.
"Luke!!" Savea cheered as she ran to him. Luke was happy and thrilled everyone was cheering for him after what he did. He couldn't have done it without Ben though. She was the only person he wanted to see desperately. Luke moved away from everyone and caught Savea in a hug. Savea laughed as he lifted her off the ground and spun her.

" that was incredible!" Savea screamed has Luke put her back on the floor.
"I didn't think you would get the shot but you did and it was so accurate like how in the world-"
Luke shook his head and smiled at how excited Savea was. It was now or never. Before she could ramble further, Luke placed her face in between his hands and bought his lips to hers. Savea was caught off guard by his action, but then kissed back. She could feel everything in her that this was right. This was actually happening. People stood back to let the two lovebirds have their moment.
Luke pulled back slowly, savouring the feeling he just had. He never felt like this towards anyone. And he was glad Savea was the one to make him feel that way. The two looked at each other and smiled.

Their gaze was cut off by Leia running in between them. Luke and Leia hugged and laughed as they hugged, and this time Savea wasn't jealous. Luke had just kissed her. She wins.
Savea noticed her brother and Chewie jogging in and ran to her brother and dear friend. She jumped into her brothers arms and he laughed. She than came out to hug Chewie. Then we walked over to Luke and Leia.
"Oh no!" Luke's disbelief interrupted the two as R2 was bought out of the fighter. " R2 can your hear me?
3PO asked this dear friend. "You can repair him, can't you?"
"Well get to work on him right away."
Then the group came together and walked off, arm in arm. Savea knew that this wasn't the end, it's only the beginning of brand new adventure.

Savea's pov.
After a few days later.
Today me, Han and Luke were getting special honours from the princess herself. I was excited. I was dressed in a nicer version of my regular outfit and boots. My hair was braided around my head. I looked nice for once. "Hello there young lady, would you mind telling me where my sister is?" Han joked walking up to me with Chewie behind him. Then Luke came out of nowhere. We made eye contact and smiled.
Me, Luke and Han stood at the doors before they opened, letting us walk in. The room was huge, there was people everywhere. I took a deep breath and walked with my brother. Once at the front, Leia placed medals around our necks. I smiled at her when I did mine before she moved to Luke R2 beeped happily and waddled. Then she did Luke's meal. I smiled at R2 before we bowed to Leia. When we turned around to everyone they clapped at us. Afterwards, we celebrated, with a lot of food and a out if dancing. I wanted to find Luke as we had talked about what happened. I want to talk to him about it. That feeling he made me feel when we kissed me. I jumped has Leia appeared next to me.
"You've been looking at Luke for the past 10 minutes." Leia told me as Luke was laughing with some pilots. His smile makes my day better.
"Go talk to him." She nudged me but she didn't understand how awkward it would be. "I can't. What if he doesn't want to talk to me?" I asked her, whispering as han was close by. I didn't need protective brother right now. " He will want to. He kissed you, he wants to talk." My eyes widened and looked at Leia "oh come on, you really didn't think I saw that. Han didn't. Thank god but I most definitely saw." I looked at my hands as I didn't think she saw. But yes thank god my brother didn't see.
"I need some air." I placed my drink on the table and walked towards a balcony. I leaned over the wall and looked out at everything. It was so beautiful. I was thinking to myself.
"Savea?" I quickly looked at Luke.
"Hey, sorry it was getting warm in there." I looked at the world again as Luke leaned next to me.
"Why did you think I didn't want to talk to you?" He broke the silence.
"Is it because of the kiss? Cause I'm sorry if i-" He started but I wanted to finish for him.
"No Luke. I liked it. I did. But why me? Why the smugglers sister?"
"Because I see more then a smugglers sister. Savea your an amazing woman. Beautiful, intelligent, sarcastic, looks good in anything." Luke mumbled the last part but I know what he said. Luke then took my hands in his and moved me to face him.
"Every since you flew into my life at that bar, my mind as not been able to get you out if it. I like you Savea, a lot. And if want to, we can be together? If thats want you want " Luke looked down at my hands, just waiting for me to say no.

"Oh Luke." I placed my hands on his cheek and moved him to look at me.
"I've been the someway. You're more special then any person I've meet. Ben would be so proud of you." Luke smiled weakly. " So to answer your question.... I want to be with you." As soon as I said that, Luke cheered and we kissed and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Just as we finished , 3PO came out. " Mr. Solo is requesting your presence." "Okay" me and Luke said at the same time making me and Luke laughed R2 then beeped which 3PO shushed him. "I don't know what they were up to, but it certainly wasn't leading to that." That made us laugh even more.
"You coming back in?" Luke asked me With my arms still around his neck.
"In a minute." I told him.
"Okay." He kissed me again. Luke smiled at me before going in.
I smiled to myself as Luke was now mine. I smiled one more time before heading in.
