Meeting You

Jenna's POV

      Today is the beginning of school. The day that kids wish never existed. I mean, who likes school? I care about my education, but I don't about it to the point where I will actually "try hard". I would rather stay home and take a nap. I change into my outift, which is a gray t-shirt and jeans,  brush my teeth, and tie my hair into a ponytail. I am prepared now. I call out to my mom to tell her that I am ready to leave, but instead of coming down quickly, she stalls for what felt like 100 years. When she finally comes downstairs, she takes  a million pictures of me inside and outside the house. I hate pictures and I don't want to be late, so I groan in frustration. Finally, we leave the house, get in the car, and head to school. Fun...not.

Brendan's POV

     School starts today. Woah! Education, am I right? I'm going to be the basic new kid. I hate being the new kid, but hopefully everything goes well. I threw on a red shirt and shorts with a red stripe, they look decent together. I brushed my teeth and combed my hair with my hand. Simple. I told my mom that I was ready for school and we left the house and head to school.

     When I arrive to school I am kind of early, so I went to the cafeteria and sat down at a random table. The people at the table were polite and cool, they all played video games as well. I guess I am off at a great start.

Jenna's POV

     Well, off to first period, which is... SCIENCE, I had science first period last year too. Oh well, might as well just go to my class. When I arrive to my class I met some new student, their names were Lily, Sofia, and Grace. They are pretty cool and I found out we had quite a few classes together, so at least I could help them navigate through the school, since they were new. Well, in summary, first period was boring because we didn't do anything but watch a video on expectations, but I made some new friends.
 
   Off to my next class, Lily, Grace, and I all had this class together, which was gym class. We talked to each other as we put our binders in our lockers and as we walked to the gym. As we were talking, I found out that Lily liked memes and Grace liked anime, so I really think we'll get along quite nicely. When we got into gym class, I immediately noticed a boy wearing a red shirt and black and red shorts. I felt as if something just clicked so I walked up to him.

Brendan's POV

     Right now is second period. Last period was boring as heck, but the teacher gave us some free time. Well hopefully second period is a lot better, but as I was thinking about the rest of the day, a girl just interrupts my thoughts. She had walked up to me to say hi and she seemed really friendly. She then introduced herself, her name was ummmm... OH Jenna. Ya, her name was Jenna. She wore a gray shirt, jeans, black converse, and glasses. She suddenly bombards me with questions like "What's your name?", "Where did you tranfser from?", and "What grade are you in?". All her questions didn't really faze me. I answered every one of her questions with a calm attitude by saying "My name is Brendan, I came from Manns Academy, and I'm in 7th grade." She had seemed to be satisfied with my answer and said "Well, it's nice to meet you Brendan, I hope we can be good friends and I hope you have a great year here at Phoenix Academy!", she then left to talk to a small group of girls.
