Their Not So Love Story

Chapter One

A girl with short pink hair sat on the bench near the village's gate. Her emerald eyes wandered outside waiting for someone. Its been 3 years since I last saw you. She thought. How are you? Are you alright? When will you come back? So many questions she wanted to ask. Oh, how she misses him.

"Sasuke-kun" she uttered his name. Looking up at the blue sky. Her pink hair wave at the breeze of the air. She's been like this for the past years. Sitting on the bench, waiting for him to return.

She stand up and walk back to the hospital where she was working. Her break was over. She spent most of her time on her duty to forget the pain she's feeling. She is now the head of the hospital since she was called the world greatest medical ninja, surpassing her master. Other country offers her to work there, but of course, she refused. She's contented on what she had and who she is now. Helping others make her heart happy. She also made a lot of friends at Konoha hospital aside from her Ninja friends.

At the hospital....

"Sakura-sama, you are needed in the operation room right now." A nurse said. She set aside the files she was reading and put on her lab gown before going to the OR. After the operation, her fellow medic-nin congratulated her for the success of her performance . "You really are great Sakura-sama" said the nurse. Most of the medical ninja all over the world envied her for her skills in healing. She smiled at the praise and went to her office.

As she enter her workplace she felt her head throbbing. She's feeling unwell but she still had a duty so she decided to ignore it and just drink some medicine. And luckily it went off.

After her shift she directly went to her newly bought apartment. She have saved enough money to buy one. It is really what she want, to be independent. She took off her coat and hang it on the rack. Then, went ahead to take a look at the refrigerator just to see a few stuffs. I better go shopping tomorrow. She mentally reminded herself and get some eggs to cook.

After eating she went to take a shower. It is really relaxing, it seems that the stress in her had washed off. Then, she went to bed and drift to a deep sleep.

"Sakura.."

she heard a very familiar voice. She look up at him and saw the same, onyx orbs and raven haired man who stole her heart.

"Sa-Sasuke-kun.." She replied still confused.

Suddenly the man turn his back and took a step away.

"Wa-wait!!" She said trying to catch up his pace. But it seems like she's not moving and the image of his back going farther and farther away from her reach. "SASUKE-KUN!!!" She scream at the top of her lungs.

She woke up panting, sweats all over her body. "I-it.. It was just a dream" she said and she started crying. The pain of losing him rushes back and it made her heart ache so much.

After a while she composed herself and stood up, she looked at the mirror.

"Damn, I look wasted." She said, then do her morning routine and off to work.

She walked and pass by Ino's flower shop. She saw her best friend and calls her "Ino!" She waved.

"Sakura!!" Ino rushes to her and gave her a card, more likely an invitation card. "I've been waiting for a moment to give this to you, but you seems very busy nowadays" she said.

Sakura look at the card with a surprised look. "Woah, you've finally decided to settle down" She said and look at her blonde friend with a surprised look.

"Ye-yeah, Sai and I decided that this is the right time." She said blushing. "oh and by the way, you'll be my maid of honor." She added.

"Really? Are you sure about that? It's not my fault if I out stand you on your wedding." Sakura said teasingly.

"Of course, you can't out stand me with your big forehead." Ino replied.

"What did you say Inopig?!" Sakura said pissed.

"F-O-R-E-H-E-A-D." They glare at each other and..

"HAHAHAHA" They both burst out laughing.

"I miss this" Sakura said with a teary eyed because of laughing.

"Yeah, me too, its been a while since we fight like this and saw you laugh again." Ino said and remember their past memories when they were younger.

"Yeah" Sakura replied.

"Look Sakura, you don't have to hurt yourself. Have fun, date someone. Don't lock yourself in him. You deserve to be happy." Ino advice.

"I guess" she answered and gave her a weak smile. "I'm leaving now, you have 3 months to lose weight" Sakura added teasing her best friend.

She just ignored it. How can I love someone if it's not him? She thought and went off to work.
