Why couldn't he look past what everyone saw. He was my math's class partner, bestfriend and always there for me but that did not change the fact that he was so much into this high school popularity and that is why I was in his birthday party looking at him dancing with the most hated yet most beautiful girl in school, Madisyn. i still cant believe he would even buy me a special dress for his birthday just for him to hook up the whole night with this girl who had made my life a living hell throughout high school.
Our eyes met from across the room and Madisyn seemed to notice and smiled at me before pulling him into a deep kiss right in front of me. i couldn't take it anymore.i rushed out as tears fell down my cheeks while my best friend Ally rushed after me. Everyone new how madly in love I was with Mike,,,,, even him and he still hurt me.
"what Ally am going home I just cant take anymore its just too much" I said before literally sitting on the ground.
"what cant you take anymore Sara?"I heard his voice, some nerve he had to come here after what he did in front me.
"Now is not the time Mike leave her alone "I heard Ally pushing him back as his footsteps came nearer to me.
"Sara what is going on,,,,,,,,,,,, "he said. Now this was it.
"I CANT BELIEVE YOU, MIKE FOR THREE YEARS YOU HAVE BEEN MY BESTFRIEND AND YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YET EVERYTIME YOU RAISE MY HOPES UP JUST TO HURT ME.I CANT DO IT ANYMORE MIKE AM TIRED, MY HEART IS TIRED NOW YOU ARE EVEN HOOKING UP WITH MY WORST ENEMY MADISYN AND IF THAT'S NOT BAD ENOUGH YOU KISSED HER RIGHT INFRONT OF ME I KNOW AM BLACK AND GUYS LIKE YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH PEOPLE LIKE US AND I KNOW EVERYBODY IN SCHOOL DISCRIMINATES ME BECAUSE OF MY COLOUR BUT YOU!!OF ALL PEOPLE YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU AND YOU STILL DO THIS TO ME!!!!!!"I said literally crying and as I beat his chest furiously before he took both my hands to him.
"Sara enough cut it out,,,,," he said before embracing me in a tight hug.
"I HATE YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS TO ME,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"I said still crying but safe in his embrace.
Now the whole school was outside enjoying the show and madisyn looked like she was about to blow up.
He brought my crying face to meet his deep blue eyes "if you hate me that much will you be mad if I do this,,,," he said before doing the unexpected that sent the whole school gasping. His head was smashed to mine as he his lips intertwined with mine furiously. This was heaven itself!!!!
We move away to catch our breaths and I just stood there not understanding what just happened and only mumbled a little "why? "
"because it has always been you Sara, you and you alone I didn't tell you because I wanted the right time to show you off to the world" he said and we were back to the kiss this time better. Finally!! it was like a dream come true.
