I remember the first time I felt an earthquake.
We were teenagers. I had just moved to America and you were the first person to talk to me. I walked down the stairs and you were there with your parents, introducing yourselves to my mom and welcoming us to the neighborhood. Your dad told you to help me unpack while they had coffee, so went upstairs and started to slowly fill my bedroom with everything I decided to take with me from my previous house.
A couple days later you introduced me to your friends and I fit right in. Together, we often hung out around your makeshift firepits, near the train tracks. One day, it was just the two of us. We were following the train tracks, balancing on the rails. It was already pretty dark outside and as we kept walking, time flew by. You told your dad you were staying over at my place and I told my mom I was staying over at yours. I knew I was gonna get in trouble, but I didn't care.
As we walked through the darkness, I suddenly felt the track start to heavily vibrate. I thought a train was coming, so in fear, I jumped off the track and fell to the floor. When no train came and the vibrating stopped, I looked at you with confusion. You stood there with a grin on your face as you told me it was an earthquake and that they happened quite often around here. I felt like an idiot and slowly got up and looked at my now scraped knee.
After that we headed back. We snook into my house and spent the night there. As we drifted off to sleep, I knew I'd have some trouble explaining this to my mom in the morning.

So I was just listening to Good Times by All Time Low (see added video) for like the millionth time and the lyrics never fail to give me the feels. I just felt really inspired to write something about that song. But instead of writing something about the entire song I want to write a one shot for every lyric. We'll see how it goes. (Probably not well, seeing as I haven't updated my other story in a billion years)
