Mermaid 🧜🏼‍♂️

Taehyung was a mermaid prince. He wasn't like any other mermaid, because princes had the ability to turn a human into a mermaid. Not any though, he could only transform one human. Not randomly either, he could only transform one through the power of love. This human had to be accepting of Taehyung, and to be caring of him too.

It was around 7pm, exactly sunset.

The sight was beautiful.

Jungkook was taking a walk along the shore, admiring the gradient of orange and purple which painted the sky above him. The waves were calm, depositing small grains of sand onto the beach as they came and went.

The beach was empty, it was just him.

He felt calm and peaceful.

He took a seat on a large rock which sat on the shore, and as he did, he noticed a presence.

He went forward slightly and noticed a red-haired boy looking at him.

Before he spoke, he noticed that boy had a tail.

A mermaid.

The mermaid was scared and upset, he thought once the boy would see his tail, he'd run away in fear, just like everyone else.

But to his surprise, the boy didn't run. If anything, he moved slightly closer to the mermaid and smiled.

Jungkook tilted his head slightly and admired the beauty of this creature infront of him.

His beautiful emerald-teal tail, glowing as the golden rays of sun hit his tail gracefully.

"You're beautiful" Jungkook said in a whisper, completely lost for words at the dazzling sight he was gifted with to be able to witness with his own two eyes.

The mermaid couldn't help but notice how stunning this boy was. The way he looked at him with his sparkling eyes, his beautifully sculpted face, how perfect his features went together.

They were both lost in eachother's eyes for a moment until one of them spoke.

"I'm Jungkook" he said, still admiring the gorgeous creature.

"I'm Taehyung" he responded.

"Taehyung" he whispered with a smile, loving how the sounds rolled off his tongue.

"Are you not scared?" Taehyung asked confused, since everyone who's seen him always end up running away and calling him a monster.

"Scared? You're so fascinating, so gorgeous" he said, his eyes completely fixed on the beauty infront of him.

Taehyung swam a bit closer to Jungkook and looked at him.

He smiled.

"I've never seen a human up close" Taehyung said with a smile, admiring Jungkook's face.

Jungkook lifted his hand slightly and was about to place it on Taehyung's cheek, but Taehyung swam back a bit.

"Don't be scared, I won't hurt you" Jungkook said in a soft, gentle voice.
