Chapter 1: Go Home

3rd POV

It was 12:00 on Mewni and 2 love-birds were sitting in Star's bedroom and singing to Love Sentence's "Burrito" Song enjoying themselves very much. Ever since Star and Tom got back together things have been very quiet even with Eclipsa's break out and eventual and relectuant house arrest nothing has actually happened.

Little did they know something is about to happen that may or may not change everything

While Tom and Star were sleeping and snuggling together after a long hour of singing Marco bursts through the window and sees them together. The sight of them together breaks his heart. He went through his breakup with Jackie all by realising that he had feelings for his best friend.

"Echm-Echm Star?" he asks nervously

"WHAT! TOM GET UP! GUARDS!"She screams terrified

"ITS OK I'M HERE STAR!" Tom yells blindly still getting his eyes to adjust to the light

"HALT! INTRUDER IN THE CASTLE! ALERT THE KING AND QUEEN!"Exclaimed all the guards as they come in through the broken windows and the door.

"Wait! I'm not an intruder! I'm Marco Diaz from the princess song! King River said I could be a knght!"

"Wait Marco?" Star and Tom question

"You a knight? Hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha!" All the guards begin to laugh their heads off (Not litteraly)

"Bring him to the Queen and King!" they all exclaim

Some time later

"So I broke into the castle because I knew the knights wouldn't let me in and I came back to Mewni because I missed it here and I wanted to become a knight but it looks like I caught everyone at a bad time and saying everything outloud I realise how much of this I didn't plan out soooooo yeah."Marco summed up

"Well Marco in order to become a knight you need to earn a Squireship which can take years before you can even consider the prospect of becoming a Knight. It also seems you ignored and rejected quite a lot of your family and friends for this no?" Moon explained

 "Well thats not exactly why I'm here. I went through 16 years of Hekapoo's trials doesn't that count for something?" Marco attempted to counter. "Star you can help me out right? Get your mom off my back?"

"OI! NO ONE INSULTS MY MOONPIE!" River exclaims angrily

"Thank you River thats enough" Moon attempts to clam him down

"Well Star?" Marco questions again

"No."

"No?" Marco questions

"No. Me and Tom were just talking about it and we can't help you out. We and baisaclly everyone in the castle knows why your really back and I don't and can't return those feelings."

"What?" Marco is stunned. How did she know? And why did she get back with Tom of all people. Or demons

"Ruberiot is already in trouble for making that song and while it may be true I did harbour those feelings at one point I've grown past them. My crush on you was a kiddy crush. I'm trying to be a better princess by being independent and strong and Tom has really helped with that and is being far more supportive than you ever were. Always sticking with Jackie over me." She explains heartbroken and sort of insulted he chose to come back to her after he got dumped.

"Yes look our little girl is growing up!" River exclaims silently and Moon can't help but agree.

"But Star I-"

"No Marco, Just Go Home" she finishes

Marco clearly looking more distraught than ever after being rejected by his once best friend. Wiping away the tears in his eyes Marco takes his inter-dimensional scissors and leaves.

"Well Star how do you feel?" Tom asks

"I actually feel more relieved than anything. Thanks Tom Thanks" She hugs him tightly

Everyone else in the room aws
