Chapter One: Mundo

akiiiiiiiiing sinta,

ikaw na ang tahanan at mundoooooo

sa paaaaaaaaaagbalik

mananatili na sa piling moooooo,

mundo'y magiging ikaw.

"Yan na naman pinapatugtog mo," reklamo ng babaeng nasa tabi ko.

"Oo nga, maka-IV of Spades ka pala," dagdag naman ng lalaking nasa tabi niya.

She's Jenina, the student council's vice president.

And he's Ian, the secretary.

To introduce myself, hi! I'm Scarlet, student council president.

"Di ako maka-IV of Spades," pagsagot ko kay Ian.

"So...bandwagon?" tanong pa niya.

I just rolled my eyes and sighed.

"I just like the song, and to be honest, their music, their style. But liking the song does not require you naman to idolize the artists, diba? Pwede ba Ian, I fall in love with music, not people," mahaba-haba kong pageexplain sa kanya.

"Okay okay," he surrendered laughing, even putting both of his arms in the air as a sign of defeat.

I slightly laughed AGAIN at the actions Ian are doing. He's a funny guy, actually. He's a sunshine. But not my sunshine hahaha.

I stood up and started walking away from them. Pupunta muna ako sa field kung saan magaganap ang party to check how's it going sa preparation para sa acquaintance party mamayang gabi.

But before I could go out of the room, I added,

"Oh. Pero Ian..."

"Hmm?"

"I have crush on Zild," I said, releasing a laugh to him.

"Di daw na-iinlab sa tao whoooo."

"Crush lang. OA. Di ako fangirl churva," pahabol ko at tuluyan nang umalis sa kinaroroonan ko kanina.

Malayo-layo rin yung open field dito sa school. At wala akong kasamang naglalakad. Boring, right?

Pero ganito kasi yon, sanay na'kong mag-isa. Huehue may ganon.

Pero kasi ganito yon. I'm not one of any groups in this school. Di ako kasali sa cliques. Di ako kasali sa barkadas. Di ako kasali sa fraternities or whatever. Talagamg sa student council at school publishing team lang ako kasali hahaha.

Pero hindi ako loner hanuba. I talk to people. I laugh with them. Tulad nalang ni Ian at Jenina.

So, hi ulit. As I said, I am Scarlet. Scarlet Cristobal, 16, a grade 11 student of Silhoa University. At yun nga, since I am the student council president at may acquaintance party mamaya, papaparty ako. Huehue.

Malaking kasi role dito ng student council so, you know, gusto naman ng lahat na bongga bongga diba.

Last week as we were planning, almost all members came up with great ideas.

ang mangyayari, since white and red ang symbolic color ng school at nagdagdag ng black para classy tingnan.

There'll be a part na parang ball siya. Then meron din yung parang disco party something. Fireworks muna bago umpisahan ang parteh parteh. Dim lights etc.
