Suga and Lonna were dressed in their best, but still the butterflies in both their stomachs remained. The fact that Pamela and Suga's father was now following them to the car didn't make the situation better. The two turned and gave as good a smile as they could muster in their nervousness to the parents in front of them. Pamela's proud smile hadn't faded one bit, but Mr. Min seemed less enthusiastic about his son meeting the woman that he calls mom.

Pamela tried her best to defuse the stare off between father and son by interrupting the awkward silence. She lightly tapped on his shoulder. "Darling, look. Our babies are so good looking." Mr. Min didn't even smile or try to agree, instead he just let his head drop. Pamela rolled her eyes and walked over to Suga, who was obviously nervous. She bushed a small strand of hair from his eyes and gave him a kind smile. "Yoongi, I can promise you, that when your mother sees you, she will be very proud."

Even though he knew she meant to calm him it didn't work. He took a deep breath and took a small step away from her to look at his father, who had yet to look back in his direction. He wondered if he had made him mad, but he didn't have the time to ask. "Dad, we're going." Was all he could think to say in farewell.

Mr. Min's head shot up in the direction of Lonna and his son, who were now heading to the car. Before he could stop himself, he had reached out and grabbed Lonna's hand nearest to him to stop her. He could tell his behavior had confused her by the expression she gave him. "Yoongi, please look after him." He sais kindly trying his best to keep his cool and not worry Lonna too much.

Sensing his worry, Lonna put her hand on his shoulder and gave him a sweet smile as she nodded in agreement to do as he said.

Suga gripped the steering wheel tightly as Lonna got in the seat beside him and shut the car door. He couldn't remember a time he had been more nervous in his life, but he was glad Lonna was there. Just her presence gave him some small bit of courage. Lonna gave her mother a wave goodbye as they pulled off to go and meet the mother Suga hadn't seen or heard from since he was little.

Jungkook paced the floor as he checked his watch and the door to the hotel for what felt like the millionth time in the last ten minutes. He had just gotten his phone out of his pocket when the two people he was about to call walked through the doors. A huge smile graced his face as he ran up to his brother and Lonna to greet them. "Hyung. Lonna." The two smiled back at him.

Ms. Jeon jumped up from her seat on one of the lobby couches and stared over open mouthed at the son she had lost years ago. He had grown so much and as she looked him over, the calmness she had had before he arrived was now disappearing with the worry of how he would react when he noticed her. She frantically fumbled around as she tried to straighten out her clothes and run her hands over her hair to put any out of place strands back. Her heart felt like it was ready to jump from her throat as she watched her two sons talk with each other.

"Sorry we're late." Suga said to Jungkook.

His younger brother quickly shook his head. "No problem. We just arrived ourselves." He lied. He locked eyes with Lonna who gave him a suspicious stare and chuckled nervously.

Lonna was starting to lose the confidence she had been faking for Suga now that they had arrived. She wondered if Suga really meant what he had said about not seeing her as his mother. She knew he was good at covering up his feelings, but could he really hide from this kind of pain? Looking over at the scared face beside her told her that Suga wasn't as sure as before either. Jungkook pulled both of them from their thoughts as he yelled over his shoulder. "Mom!"

Both of their eyes followed his line of sight before coming to a stop on a well dressed woman across the room. She stood frozen as Suga's eyes met hers like she was scared any movement would scare him away. Suga felt his chest tighten as he looked her up and down. It was taking everything in him to stop himself from running up to her, but if it was to greet her happily or with venom, he was unsure. He was still trying to believe she was really there in front of him looking like she did when he last saw her.
