Alice has found a safe house. It took a while, and she had to run from distorted versions of her friends to get here but here she is! The good news is it's empty and has a door she can close to keep others out! The bad news... there's no food... and she's hungry.
Sigh
"Ok, I think I saw some soup cans around here." Alice says to herself as she grabs the pipe she's been using as a weapon and walks out.
Thankfully she was able to retrieve  few full cans without conflict. This would be enough to feed her for now but if she wanted anything more she would have to hunt further out....
"Well, I have nothing to loose! Other than my life.... uh... dangit Alice it's hard to give yourself a pep talk." Alice mumbled to herself, deciding that she would rest for now and head out later to hunt for more soup.

He needed to move.
Staying in one place was making him nervous,
He HAD to move NOW
Not caring about where he went the being sat up and walked in a direction. He might have gone up stairs. Me might have gone though long hallways, he didn't notice, or even care.
Moving was nice, it seemed to relieve whatever stress was building up by laying on the ground alone with your empty mind...
...
Yah let's keep moving and not think about that. He was content to just wander blindly until a wave of dread hit him, the walls started to bleed ink and black veins crawled along the walls.
He had to run.
He had to hide
He didn't know how he knew but.
He feared the Ink Demon.
He ran looking for a place to hide. Not daring to look back in fear the demon was right behind him. He found a little miracle station and jumped inside. The feeling of fear resonated inside of the ink that made him, he was shaking and trying not to make a sound. Slowly, the demon slipped into view. He was too thin. Sharp claws outstretched as his eyes scanned the room. The demon didn't see him inside the station, thankfully, and just walked past. Once it was safe he jumped out of the station and started running. He didn't know where he was going he just had to run. He didn't see anyone in front of them until he had run into them and fell to the floor.
"Ah!" A female voice yelled and the sound of metal cans falling to the floor. He immediately curls into a ball thinking maybe this will defend him from whatever attacker he just angered. But instead a kind voice talks to him.
"Hey, are you alright?" She sounded genuinely worried. But he was still shaking.
"Oh dear, I'm not going to hurt you sweetie." The voice said and he dared to look up. Above him was a perfect little angel who looked worried for him. He felt like she's seen her face before, on a poster? She extended a hand to him in an offer of peace and he accepted. She pulled him up. "I'm really sorry about that sweetheart, I wasn't looking where I was going" the angel apologies, he wanted to say it was his fault for not looking, but all that came out of his mouth were garbles. He covers it with his hands and looks down in shame. The angle looks worried. "Do you have anywhere safe to stay sweetheart? It's dangerous to be out in the open with a demon around." She says and he shakes his head no. She looks to be thinking then smiles. "Well then, you're welcome to stay with me. I have a safehouse nearby. I was actually out collecting soup cans." He nods gratefully and looks at the cans helping to pick them up. The angel smiles. "Thank you so much sweetheart! Oh! I never did tell you my name. I'm Alice, do you have a name?" He looks down and has a sad look on his face.
Name...
He can't remember it.
How could he forget something as important as his own name? The angel sees this sadness and thinks.
"Oh, well until you recall it. Do you mind if I call you Sweetheart? It seems fitting."
Sweetheart? He looks up and smiled. He had a name! He nods happily and hugs the angel. She giggled. "Ok so glad you like it Sweetheart!" She steps back and put the cans she was holding in her satchel.
"Now Lets go back to the safehouse. We can talk more there.
And so the two beings walked together, allies in a dangerous world. They didn't know where they would go but, they felt things would be alright for now.
