Chapter 8: A little accident

Aphmaus POV:
(Time skip to thursday because i cant think of anything :P)
Today me, Shelby, Sky and Cory had physical skills first. I personally think that its pretty cool, we get to go on climbing frames and stuff. At least thats what I called them, they were really just wooden frames for climbing on. It had an obstacle course in the air that we had to make our way through. It wasnt to difficult but it was challenging enough. When we finally got there the adults told us that it was the cats turn to do the climbing today and Shelby got excited. She loved climbing.

We all went over to the apparatus and Shelby made her way up to the top.
"Good luck!" I yelled up to her as she was ascending.
"Thanks!" She yelled back.
The rest of us went over to the regular obstacle course (the one on the ground) and started training.

(A couple minutes later...)

Skys POV:
I was crossing the thin bridge of the obstacle course when a drop of water landed on the tip of my nose. I looked up to see what was going on and saw a bottle of water, that someone had forgotten to take out of their pocket, had spilt onto the wood of the climbing frames. I stared around to see if I could spot Shelby and saw her just getting to the part where the water had spilled. I tried shouting up to warn her but she couldnt hear me. I know how slippy wood gets when its wet. By the time everyone saw what was happening, Shelby had already gotten to the soaking wet part and, just our luck, she didnt notice it.

Third Person:
Shelby stepped onto the wet patch of the wood and immediately slipped from the wooden beam. Aphmau gasped, covering her mouth, scared that Shelby would get severely hurt (if not killed) from the fall. Before another second could be wasted, everyone heard an extremely quick set of footsteps sprinting towards where the girl was falling. Just as she was about to hit the ground, Shelbys fall was broken by a certain wolf hybrid catching her.

Shelbys POV:
I opened one eye to confirm that I hadn't hit the floor and gone numb. Seeing that wasnt the case, I fully opened both eyes. I slightly turned my head to the left to see who caught me. "Dang that was close..." Cory said, panting from running so fast.
"Y-yeah it was..." I gazed up at him. "Thank you so much for catching me!" I smiled warmly at him as he let me stand.
"No problem!" He grinned back at me and chuckled a bit. "What was I supposed to do? Just let you fall?"
"I guess not." I giggled.

Without warning, Aphmau and Sky ran up to us.
"IS YOU OK?!" Aphmau bear-hugged me from worry.
"Is i ok?" I laughed, hugging her back. "Yes Aph. I is ok."
"Dont judge me. I was stuck between saying 'is she ok' and 'are you ok'..." She gave me a smile. Sky looked worried as well but when I said I was alright he smirked at Cory. He just looked confused.
"Why are you smirking?" He asked, crossing his arms.
"Shes falling for you bro. Literally." Sky teased.
"So because I caught her, that means shes falling for me now?" Cory retorted, giving Sky that 'really bro' look.
"I'm surprised you know what that means..." Aphmau butted-in with a blank expression.
"I've had relationship classes now." He replied, his arms still crossed.
"Speaking of classes we should be heading to our next ones!" I pointed to the clock in the room, we were going to be late if we didn't get going now.
"Good point. Lets go!" Sky exclaimed, running off as we all followed him.
