After that night, he'd always come back and try to scare you... You'd try to attack him with whatever you had on your person. Spoons, phones, unopened water bottles, you name it, and you've probably hit him with it. Half of the time, if the victim's house was closer to yours than his was, he just crashed at your place, which is what was happening now. You were just sitting around your room, when frantic knocks reached your ears. You looked out your window, only to see Jeff staring back. In no hurry whatsoever, you stood up to let him in. Immediately after you opened the window, he tumbled in.

"Why didn't you go faster? I almost got caught!" You poked your head out the window. There was nothing more than silence and starlight. You laughed.

"They must have not been as close as you thought. Come on loser, calm down. Let's go watch a movie or something."

You had been visiting the forest more often ever since. He drew you out there, after all. You visited him at least three times a week at this point. You've been around him so much that you're starting to develop immunity of sorts to the headaches and blackouts. You'd sometimes see him staring up at your window, or on the side of the road. Watching.

He pulled up a website called Cleverbot. You had talked to him like this before, so you weren't shocked.

Cleverbot: I'd like to receive what you owe now.

User: And what would that be.

Cleverbot: I want to be able to come over any time I want.

User: Thats kinda lame.

Cleverbot: What would you prefer, then?

User: Idk i just want to know why thats what i owe.

Again, your laptop went black as it heated up. You sat it on the coffee table uncomfortably, wanting to avoid the possibility of him getting a little too close. He came out, and sat beside you on the couch.

"So, what are we doing?"

"We?"

"Yeah. We. I don't want to be lonely, after all." He gave a sly grin.

"There's a retro arcade down a couple blocks."

"Sounds perfect."

You smiled as Tim sat down in front of you.

"Hey," you greeted nonchalantly. He held his hand up in return.

"Here, brought you something." He slid a small pack of cookies over to you. You smiled widely.

"Thanks." You tore it open, and offered him one. He took it, and the two of you ate in a comfortable silence. You saw him jump, and look behind him.

"I think I've got to go. See you later." You watched him rush off. You picked up a note he had left behind. You decided not to read it. Not yet, at least.
